We were a superpower in the 70's, 80's and 90's when China was still dirt poor. We didn't need them as trade partner. We didn't need them then, we don't need them now, we won't need them in the future. Since when did we allow this communist country to disrupt our lives? We need someone tough like Ronald Reagan. We need to cut all ties with China, Chinese economy will go bankrupt because the US market is 90% of Chinese exports.
If Chinese government used subsidies for trade advantage, the US government has the rights to do whatever it takes to protect its workers, including prohibiting companies from offshoring jobs. The Chinese don't follow the rules of free market. Why do we have to be nice to them? FUCK China, DO NOT interfere with US bussiness. Get those manufacturing jobs back here in the US. Chinese produced stuff that are either toxic or craps.
Example if it coast ford $3000 to build a focus including shipping from china VS $10,000 in detroit with a resale price of $15,000 in the US what way do you think ford is going to go? Now tax product manufacture in china 40+% to make ford have the same benefit as if it was manufactured in the US and ford would say BY BY china I am a US corporation and I rather hire a American then a chinese if I am to make the same profit.
@elbotto the reason for manufacturing china from western superpower were if we make china a rich country we can use they're purchase power and in turn make ourself much more richer then them, western superpower did not realize china would use this as a way to collapse US market @elbotto if it coast ford $3000 to build a focus including shipping from china VS $10,000 in detroit with a resale price of $15,000 in the US what way do you think ford is going to go? Now tax product manufacture in chin
USA don't need china for a sound economy the cold war proves it, china before western country start using they're chip labor was under develop and evolve straight up third world country and if western countries cut the plug then BY BY china as they are still under evolve and we have way more ways to develop new top technology. We are much smarter by far
@Aure9000 I agree with you. We were a superpower in the 70's, 80's and 90's when China was still dirt poor. We didn't need them as trade partner. We didn't need them then, we don't need them now, we won't need them in the future.
@elbotto what Chinese company you moron, most or all manufacturing in china is from western superpower businesses and in that comment they have to ship it to the USA from china. 2 we are stop to have 5 year old working by something you have no clue about it's call labor laws moron, as WE give them possibility to manufacture we can easily make it illegal to sale product manufactured in china and tax the crap out of product from china. WOW you are so STUPID you must be Chinese.
@elbotto it would be fairly easy to tax product manufactured in china, as all product coming to the US from oversea have to get by US custom, and the US government can easily mandate upfront tax before passing true US customs and would make it impossible and ultimately illegal to sale chinese product in USA with out paying the tax upfront.
@Aure9000 No, actually it wouldnt be "fairly easy". Your entire post is filled with nonsense from the absolute most retarded order there is to it. So you think Chinese companies PAY to ship their goods to your country? Are you a MORON. They dont PAY. They GET PAID. They are the ones selling, the seller dont pay for the price, moron. Do you walk into a store as a customer and expect the shopowner to pay you to buy their goods?
@elbotto china do cheat on they're currency by depreciate it, by under paying they're labor force, by having 5 year old kid working for nothing it makes it impossible for USA to compete and china don't want the USA labor force to compete as they know we won't by there shit anymore and American manufacture would relocate in the USA. FYI USA have much more advance technology way better craftsmanship and ultimately it would be made in the USA therefor no need of shipping expenses.
@Aure9000 Oh, why dont you shut it clown. During the Bush era, the claim was that China currency was 20% undervalued. From 2000-to 2008 China currency rose 25% in value. And now the same retarded clowns are claiming its 30 to even 40% undervalued. Do you idiots even read what you write down.
Yes, we have 5 year olds working for us to drive our prices down. Who is stopping you from doing the same. OWNED. Your sour tears taste so good. Keep talking BS, kid. As if I give a flying fuck.
Currencies does not have intrinsic values. Simply put, its only worth as much as the country wants to make itself rich or make itself poor. If you depeg the Yuan right now, it could go up for 6 months or it could go down for 6 months. Nobody knows, because its based on supply vs demand. If a recession is coming, its going down. for sure because only dollar will go up.
People saying the Yuan is 30-40% undervalued are full of shit. They only say that because THEIR products are 40% more expensive.
Nobody cheats on currency because youre implying that they cannot use policies that either make their currency super strong or super weak, like all other countries in the world are doing. Currencies are a matter of sovereignity and you have no say in the matter as a foreign country.
If your "companies" cant compete because of a foreign currency, Im sorry to say this but those companies shouldnt exist at all. These companies are badly run and are financial beggars. Incredibly bad fundamentals.
