  • Best of luck Cris! Personally I feel walking is MUCH easier on the joints regardless of one's weight. Walking *some* every single day is best. Running every day is not a sustainable activity for many people, (myself included). The joints just break down from all the pounding. Even with walking it's always best to stick to soft surfaces.

  • @Blinkazoid very true - I just use running because I get done faster LOL

  • Hey I wish you the best, I will be watching your progress. I am going through the same thing now. Go by %BodyFat nothing else. BMI and other measurements are not very accurate measures of health. I am 6'1" and have an ideal weight of 267lbs (15%bf), which BMI would consider obese.

  • @avader5 Yea - the whole BMI thing is just insanely backwards if you are anywhere "not standard" - and I, for one, am not standard LOL

  • Good Luck Girl!! I'll always be supporting you in your goal :)

  • @sweetpaganrose thank you very much, Laura. I really appreciate that :)
