Even though its kinda the same as heihachis, I prefer dvj's!

@allannn ah yes, but the biggest problem with law, IMO, is once you've mastered what you'd normally master with any char, blocks, manouvers, bit of parry, Law has the most unimaginative move list for a kung fu master esque type, very boring, and somewhat childish to pull off. all chars are pretty much S tier if u can use them, I'm not the best player but I've seen some hardcore ppl use all sorts of chars, it's how u play, but if your Hcore the rest is just math/stats and a bit of luck IMO

People think that DJ is cheap only because of that noob laser moves. He is not to hard to learn for casual play, but if you realy want to became a master, you'll have to go through all that EWGF drill. That requires way much more time to master than any of Steve moves.

steves moves are pretty simple....yet it is 1 of the harder characters to use....as long as u have a stick, and know how 2 play then learning all of the moves arent hard....

the hard moves a require buffering F or some shit like Kings running jaguar bomb or steves combo's buffing F for his F F 2 to get his juggles correct

The top 5 are still relatively dangerous though. Lili is still capable of a death combo, does ridiculous damage and is still able to fully juggle from a normal hit sweep (d/b+4). Everyone else's sweeps got nerfed. Its messed up. Hei, Bryan and Steve have crazy damage too, especially when you consider how easy their juggles are to pull off. Some of their combos just SHOULDNT catch.

Well, Lili combos are deadly but she can be easily get punished for every mistakes she make. I agree that Heihachi's combos are crazy especially at wall but he's difficult to use so i give him the credits. For Bryan, he's really dangerous now because his new moves really benefits him a lot. As for Steve, his combos deal huge damage but aren't that easy to pull off as it requires precise timing to do so.

Yeah I can definitely see where you're coming from but, I play all of those characters as alts and I honestly think that if anyone practised them for a little while they'd easily get down timing for Steve's f+2,1~b, iws+1,2 etc. Same with Hei, esp when you can mess it up and still get huge damage: ewgf, d/f+2 (messed up ewgf), d+1, B! ecd+4,4,1. Then with a wall just rhyme off ecd+4, ws+4,4. And animations of lili's d/b+4 etc have new mixups so, just irritates me that it sweeps.

Yeah i agree, timings are nothing when it comes in the hand of the skilled players. As far as i've been fighting human players, Steve don't really launch his opponents easily but gotta watch out for his CH b+1 launcher. For Heihachi, he's a real killer when his combos connect at wall so avoid being pushed to wall. I have to agree with you that Lili's d/b+4 is really annoying as it also works as launcher so try to SS as her moves doesn't SS tracks much. I always did that and it worked.

I find one of the best ways to setup a combo is to counter with Steves quick hook B LP ( you could also go into flicker from that by pressing back to then combo them with your tempest combo.) see if that works on them and then punish accordingly and just take your time and find your openings and make use of Steves dodges they are also a great way to get in hits. One more things, find a way to get them to a wall and then just pound them basically.

I hope I don't start a flame war, but this is a comparison for two games I like. Tekken 6 seems similar to Dead or Alive 4 now that you bounce a little higher on the ground. I mean, these death combos, albeit combos with rage to power em up (which compensates for T6's increased life bar anyways) are similar to the long string of combos I've seen for Dead or Alive 4. Seeing as these aren't crazy 30 hit combos, I hope it's doable.
