ok im from the dmv. first off the three stars dont stand for dc and maryland. its just the dc flag. second the washington monument doesnt look like that so whoever said that emblem looks like the monument is an idiot. it looks like the white house
The US Capitol is in the bottom of the "Weagle" (as it's known to Caps fans) and navy silhouette of the Washington Monument is above it, just below the "Weagles" neck. So yes the Monument is in the logo and no, the White House is no where on the jersey.
#1 The stars on the Caps logo do not stand for DC and Maryland, they are pulled from the DC flag which is designed after George Washington's coat of arms. It's an homage to the flag.
#2 The shoulder emblem is supposed to look like the US Capitol, not the White House, also the triangle below the eagles head is supposed to be the top of the Washington monument.
Hey! Cool NHL Jersey collection! I think the second Jersey you were talking about, the Sabres one, was probably screen printed. Meaning it's not stitched or sewn on. The Sabres Vanek Jersey was really nice, not a Sabres fan though haha. And I totally agree with you on the fact that the LA Kings Jersey you have is awesome! I love the colors, the logo etc. Hate their new Jerseys,,,,and guess what? This is coming from a Vancouver Canucks fan! hehe, we'll be back next year... :)
@sportsgurl16 yea the kings jersey is the best but the buffolo sabers jersey is real i got it off of nhl.com the stiching goes through the jersey i hate canucks but there jerseys i like lol
