Just giving you a heads up, I have a feeling you're mistaken with the thin-ness of the Neck. It is a Classical guitar, and besides the Nylon strings, the other primary distinct difference is the wider neck.

so what the heck is Dropped D tuning?? This vid sounds like normal guitar tuning.

....maybe dropped d IS normal...but if it is, then why would the tabs specify. Way to confuse me. lol

It is in Drop D tuning. Drop D is standard tuning, but with the low E string tuned down one step to D. So it sounds very similar, but you get that low open D string. Maybe you don't hear it because the microphone doesn't seem to pick up the bass notes very well.
