I don't know why i get a old world/ medieval/ middle earth type feeling when i listen to this song. But this song is amazing, easily within my top 5 favorite WT songs.
2.06 that sounds so majestic. This album still plays on my emotions. It gives me shivers and that is the sign of classic music. One of the best Dutch bands ever.
i find all the songs on mother earth to be nothing less than excellent (beauty is always in the ear of the listener), so this is one of them. the phrase "voice of an angel" was meant for sharon, and in this song she sings about a not-so-nice angel, which i find most appropriate. p.s. good job on getting the lyrics right!

2.06 that sounds so majestic. This album still plays on my emotions. It gives me shivers and that is the sign of classic music. One of the best Dutch bands ever.

i find all the songs on mother earth to be nothing less than excellent (beauty is always in the ear of the listener), so this is one of them. the phrase "voice of an angel" was meant for sharon, and in this song she sings about a not-so-nice angel, which i find most appropriate. p.s. good job on getting the lyrics right!

The song is undoubtly well performed. The thing that concers me here is that who do they speak of? Obviously if its real world connected its the satan, but they are not christans.

This group is German, and they said this song was about Hitler.
Also, I think you should be careful about placing people into boxes of either for or against, as the world is not that simple.
I think this song is a very strong reminder that we should be very aware when our authorities advocates that war and hate is the only solution to a problem....
Also religious hate has become a popular trend today, as Muslims has become a hate figure very much like the Jews before....

@Nabo00o : The language is very similar, I know many people who confuse it with German when they hear interviews or something like that.
But Hitler is such a big historical person that his deeds moved and still move people all around the world. And the Netherlands are near.
So, now you know where WT come from, and everyone is happy^^

This was song was about Hitler, but I think it applies to every authority that tells us to hate each other and be afraid. Like the Bush eras, hate and fear was the key to everything they accomplished, as with Nazi Germany. And it will happen again if we don't recognize right from wrong, love from hate.....
