@ DjDrellz Thanks for your repley. Surly if i had them around the wrong way i would just get nothing from the off? First ever night i used it it was fine. Second night half way through the night i got bad noise so i paniced and played with the leads then it went (few) 3rd night i had noise pretty much right away and also 1 of the decks wouldnt load a tune unless i unplugged it all. So since then i still have not used the leads iv set up. What am i doing wrong? :(

Iv done this step by step how you have said and all seemed to be a great idea. BUT..... i get terrible noise and tracks wont load on the deck on the lap top etc. The noise sounds like its not earthed. worked a couple of times but not the others so i cant no longer trust this quick set up. iv changed the female to female adapters to as i though i may have bought some dodgy ones but still the same. Am i missing something?

i have never had a problem setting up, but i've seen others fumble and fuck shit up. i just set up the free deck, mix in, then set up the other deck. fuck it's not rocket science.
