My daily driver is E46 328i and E30 325i weekends. 325i is more responsive with Signature Motoring performance (CAI) intake kit. Installed it myself in under half hour. HP increase on the 325i is about 9.5HP for a cost of $170 or around $19 per HP gain. Best 1st performance mod to do. Other application data:

E30 series: 6.0-13.4hp gain

E36 series: 5.5-12hp gain

E46 series: 6.0-13.9hp gain

E92 series: 8.5+ hp gain

Z3/Z4 (all): 5.5-13.9hp gain

I love my 325i. Only mod is a Signature Motoring performance intake kit. They run around $150 and add around 9hp in the six-cylinder E30s and a bit less in the 318. That's the best value per HP gain... A good value for the extra oomph. General HP increases are shown:

E30 series: 6.0-13.4hp gain

E36 series: 5.5-12hp gain

E46 series: 6.0-13.9hp gain

E92 series: 8.5+ hp gain

Z3/Z4 (all): 5.5-13.9hp gain

no (my brother owned a e28 heirloom form my late mom though) but i was planning on selling my subie in the spring time, get 4k for it, buy an e30 for 2 or 2.5k.

then spend the rest of the 2-1.5k on it and in august im getting a settlement check for 3,500 and all of its going to the

e30 because im going to auto school basically for free. i plan to enter scca solo events in new england sometime soon as well.

That's not an E92, E92 is a 2 door. This is the 4 door version, witch equals= E90. I've seen this personally, many times. I KNOW this is a E90, you can ask anyone, with abit of experience, and they will say this is a E90.
