I have this same guitar, i just bought it a few months ago.. the body style is very nice, its well made, and it is a chaimbered guitar. This guitar has a great feel to it and has alot of sustain. all i did was change the tune-o-matic and i swapped the pickups with Dimarzio D-Activators... great guitar.
@proveitifyoucan Thank you and I agree. Great little guitar. The tune-o-matics are the worst part. I was planning on swapping the pups with Seymore Duncan Pearly Gates sometime in the future.
@bonz0416 No. I am not saying the Eppi is better. It all depends on the Eppi in question. For clarity, this particular guitar I am playing is as good or better quality than a few Eppi LP's I have seen personally. I once owned a 1969 Les Paul Custom that was incredible. Best part was I only paid $300 for it, (that was quite a few years ago). I paid less than $150 for this particular LP and it is a good value. I used to get Gibsons quite cheap until Ebay made auction mania push the prices up.
@leonanim thank you sir! im very much interested about this guitar.. 1 question sir, do know what is the difference between the "alnico classic 'plus' humbuckers" and the one who dont have a "plus"? because i think youre knowlegable about that.. because i dont have the chance to compare the two.. because the eppi LP studio deluxe uses that p.up the one w/"plus" humbuckers.. also how was the sound of this guitar compared to the other or with the eppi or the gibson you owned?
@leonanim sorry if i have so much question sir.. :) i just really want to buy the one [beacuse of a limited budget :)) ] that i would not be thinking to buy another one sooner or later.. hope you understand.. :)) thank you and god bless.. :)) i am now attracted on the way it looks and how it is made.. i am now into how it sound..
@bonz0416 The OE-20 has incredibly good sustain. I will post a video shortly. If money is tight, I would go with the OE-20. If money wasn't tight, I might consider the Eppi LP only if it was about the same price. But, I really like my OE-20. I am satisfied with it. It's a poor musician that blames his instrument. Play the hell out of the OE-20 and you will amaze die-hard insecure players.
good day! i would just like to ask something because you said that it could have been better than eppi's LP's.. how would you compare the sound of it from the epiphone les paul studio deluxe which i am planning to buy.. because it is using an alnico plus humbucker pick.ups.. have you tried it? which is better? what can u suggest? tnx and God bless! :)
@bonz0416 If you like the sound of the Eppi LP, it plays well and the price is right, buy it. I am not biased against Epiphone. I think some are very good guitars. I always liked the sound of Gibsons. I think they are way over-priced today. There are other really good brands out today. I used to be a Gibson snob. Now I feel Taylor makes a better sounding and better quality guitar for the money than a Gibson. Use whatever guitar brings out the artist in you.
@Zachhecrote14 I had just gotten the guitar when I recorded this. I never intended to post this originally. I don't play loads of styles, so everyone will have to find their own. I just think this brand deserves a serious look, despite the low price. I also have an OE-30 that I am very pleased with, (especially since Gibsons are so over-priced today). I do like the sound of a vintage Gibson, but I found the quality to be sketchy,(too bad). I new this 30 years ago.

Very nice indeed. Try getting this sound out there: i.e. Explore different styles and genres to show a way this guitar applies to all players :)
