jees those were the days..I remember going to raves in the caves in Chislehurst, in Kent. Now that's a sound experience 10k plus sound system in a massive cave system..that was banging!!

  • @redroutemaster I went to one in a quarry up on the yorkshire moors. The sound was amazing!

  • ALAN PARSONS PROJECT SIRIUS/EYE IN THE SKY

  • Nice bleepy intro, plenty of layering and some breakage get the party off to a good start, cue some Golden Child sampling… can you feel yourself settling down to what appears to be a quality early progressive house track. Your enjoying those strings now, back to the progressive sound, your heads nodding, aye, loving them strings…

    BOOOM!

Where the FUCK did that piano come from?!!??!

Great tune, quality upload, lets go!

  • @cheesyquaver It was on RECORD BREAKERS in the 1980s before they did a record attempt. i knew someone made a tune from it...Cheers!

  • absolutely mint!

  • nice tune, but has to be said this is so sounding like l.u.p.o hell or heavan.

  • this is soooooo real ;-) I love it!

  • My jaw nearly hit the floor when the piano kicked in. Absolutely massive. Thanks.

  • me and me mate couldnt agree wether it was record breakers or krypton factor. but youve solved that now

  • @john4592 it was originaly produced back in 1982 by the alan parsons project as the lead in to the eye in the sky.

  • @hargohargo grand thanks

  • The reason the person who put this up has labelled it Itao piano gem, is that this was released on Clubscene records ( I have it upstairs), and at the same time, there was a plethora of GREAT house music coming out of Italy, i.e 4forMoney, synthesis, 2 examples to name a few - the fact is that our Scottish producers were influenced heavily, and in a good way, at the time - why not search, Dymension -let it move you, suburban delay, blah blah..I've always loved Piano house!!! Just enjoy!

  • @1Delroacho Subarban Delay Energy Rush, now theres a tune!!

  • Take me to the TOP!!!!! Piano Rush Come ALIVE!!!

  • mesmerisingly amazing

  • is that the background tune off the old krypton factor when they do that brain test? think it is lol

  • the background tune is taken from the EYE IN THE SKY INTRO, BY ALAN PARSONS PROJECT 1982. its uploaded on youtube so you can compare the two

  • @dnp888 yeah you are right ,gold

  • @dnp888

It's also used in Record Breakers when they're attempting a challenge. Not this version exactly, but the Alan Parsons project version.

  • @dnp888 lol

  • @dnp888

Nah that was Al;an Parsons Project - Sirius where this was sampled from

  • @dnp888 Alan Parsons Project - Sirius

That's where the background noise in this track came from, and yes, Krypton Factor is use Sirius as background music for it's show.

  • @dnp888 no its from the eye in the sky by alan parsons project

  • wotta song :)

  • funky tune my fav

  • ahhhhh the sweet sound of that piano i love it soooo much!

  • Yeah, great tune, Ricky's theme on B-side also useful. Remember DJ Tom Wilson (RIP) saying the follow up was also a tune - but sadly this never seemed to see the light of day.

  • classic tune heard this when i was abt 14 bought it and became a bedroom dj lol fucking mint tune piano so gd

  • in regards to the italian house thing, come on if you didn't know you would kinda guess it was. How many fucking samples. amazing music! Knowledge is power !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • lookin for this for ages, classic spine chiller has all the right beats takes me all the way back nice upload keep them cominan by the way Takes me to the top!!

  • lol it aint an italo piano tune *full stop*

also the main riff is from an 1983 track called.. the pink project - disco project

  • Can someone explain why this is a Italian Piano anthem????? WTF???

Area 51 was a nightclub in Scotland, this was made by Scottish people and it was first released on a Scottish hardcore label which had more releases of Ultrasonic songs than anything else????

  • technically , it's taken from Alan Parsons "Sirius"

  • alan parsons eye in the sky.....

  • The hook is stolen from the 90's TV show You Bet with either Bruce Forsyth or Matthew Kelly! As played by Steve Luigi @ the Gallery Leeds... Respect the Oldskool Italian sound...
