@xVEMOV3ILBRID3Vx Well, the reason it's like that is so that the legs of the dinosaur can be anatomically correct and to make it look as realistic as possible. These kinds of puppets tend to be used for theatres as well, so lighting would mean that the legs can't be seen that well anyway.

Also, I'd like to see you pull off something this amazing. Just use your imagination a little and think before you start insulting others work.

@Abwettar Don't bother teaching them, they only insult others because they can. I think this is on par with Walking With Dinosaurs and that's a feat by itself. People with computer addiction can often ignore the sheer awesomeness that practical puppets still posses. If used in a movie all one needs to do is post-enhance it and it fits right in with best CGI.

@Dinoslay Yeah I know :) I was feeling a bit tetchy that day so I felt the need to say something but I usually wouldn't have bothered.

It is true that this is amazing though :D That's quite an interesting thing about CGI, I wonder if any of the Jurassic park dino's were done like that xD

@Abwettar Probably not as they kept them separate elements, the closest was in JP3 with puppets interacting with CGI models at the same time.

One can even give practical puppets more fluid and dynamic motion by just exaggerating a slow motion with mime to look like fast motion when sped up. When it comes to live action cinema treating fantastic elements like that adds something fresh.

@gustavo58394 that`s only lanterns in the far. Cause the brightness and the lower picture quality, it looks like they vanish and disapear.

1: Ther`s a "ROBOT DINASOUR" , right in the middle! and YOU see that in the back! ;)

2: If you just watch a bit ckloseley, you can see its a lantern. But before that it`s a UFO. ;)))

Iguess it was a fun from you, and it was funny. but the sad part is, a lot of people take something like that serious. That`s why there exist things like "Orps" and "Rods".
