  • This sup is great..... Been using it for about 1month. Jack3d along with a good diet has made a HUGE difference with definition and strength. In terms of when is the right time to work out after taking the sup, I just wait until I get an itchy face. I know sounds weird but that's my indicator. usually around 30 mins.

  • There is no Nitric Oxide in this or any other supplement - Nitric Oxide is a gas. There is Arginine which creates Nitric Oxide. :)

  • How much creatine is in it? I'm looking for a good pre workout supp., but Im still in the process of cutting fat, and dont want to use something that will hold too much water weight on me. Any suggestions?

    yea it happens to me when say for example im doing dead lits, if im down for too long coming back up gives me a major light headed thing going.but it fades away with me after a few seconds

But my muscles felt denser and harder during my workouts... So far i like this product!

    1st time, i didnt feel much but the next couple of times its been the best shoulder and back day respectively

  • OMG i just taken this for the 1st time today- think about it like this. Every time I even thought about lifting a weight, my body just started sweating, hands tingling, I just wanted to do it!! I was so focused, usually I chill out abit when training, but I started at 6:25 and finished 7:45 banging out everything. This product is nothing short of amazing- 5/5 thanks for a great review. Can't wait til wednesday when I'll have my next scoop :P

    You can blame any bad judgement on anything. You shouldnt take it "before a night out" lol. This is why stuff like Ephedrine and other pre workouts get banned. People using it for stuff its not designed for. My guess is that if you didnt drink you wouldn't have ended up in a cell lol.

    Seriously though, guys dont abuse supplments. the more we abuse shit and misuse it the chance you give the govt to take it away from us... Think about it..

  • THIS STUFF IS AMAZING!! i use it about 20-30 minutes before my run in the morning and i do a majority of my run at about a 9 speed and bump it up to a 10 on my tredmill about 2 minutes b4 i finish my mile. Today i took it and was able to bring that time down to 2 more minutes b4 i bumped it up to 10 speed. Which brought my mile time down to about 5minutes and 50 seconds and still had energy to run on an incline and do 50 crunches dips and 60 push ups i highly recommend this to ppl who run alot

    You can, but don't use much. maybe 1/2 to 1 scoop. The thing with it is that anything that gets your heart rate increased this will drive it up more. I took it sometimes during Wrestling and BJJ and it made me want to die lol. Just dont take too much.

    Yes. Like any and all pre workouts and stimulants the more you use it the more you get used to it. Plus it varies from person to person. its kinda like drinking. Some people can drink lots, some cant. Stimulant tolerance is very individual.

    No. I wouldn't advise this at 15. Creatine or something is totally fine, and BCAA's etc. But i would avoid ALL stim products until at least 18-19. I never used anything stimulant based until I was 20. then someone gave me 25mg Ephedrine, boy was that a great kick lol.

    But in all seriousness No. Be sure to take BCAA's, Creatine, Protein, Fish oil etc. But avoid anything with stimulants and a lot of caffeine, just trying to look out for you!

    As I just posted above I think it would be ok as long as you drink a lot of water and dont take too many scoops. The concentration I get off this product is just killer!

    Thats a crazy price, i own a store and thats cheaper than I get it for. Also beware of counterfeits. It happens a lot in the supp business on ebay etc.

    I wouldnt dude. Wait a bit longer...18-19 your cool. But at 17 I think your still too young. Maybe not what you wanted to hear but I always make it a point to be brutally honest with the teens I help. The amount of supplements I have had teens lay on my counter and I ahve said "You don't need that" prob not what they want to hear, and maybe they went to GNC after but I cant sell stuff to kids I dont think is right for them.

    I had no issues at all with bloating on this. I have had some that bloated me before, NOxplode, Old Super Pump etc.

  • Been hearing about Jack3d for some time but was always an N.O. Explode fan.. I tried Jack3d and N.O does not ompare. No rest room breaks or bloating as with N.O. explode. Goood clean energy, better stamina and vascularity.

  • Hey Rob Excellent Review once again! Got a question though. I'm quite confused on the whole pre workout supplements going on. Some take whey protein before work outs. Some take supplements like Jack3d and Super Pump ( gaspari nutrition ). Whats the right away? Or is this all a style or what? Quite confused. Or you take both protein and jack3d?

    Also for pre workout would you eat a meal WITH jack3d or just jack3d?

    I am sure there are many varying opinions on this.

    I go a GOOD meal 1 hr before training of slow releasing carbs and protein. Usually oatmeal, vanilla whey, mixed berries and a banana. If cutting I cut the fruits.

    20=30 min pre workout I use a pre workout (which I recommend you cycle between stimulant and non Stimulant).

    Then during my workout i use BCAA's or GP3 (more info on that at RobKingFitness . com).

    Then I have a post workout shake or something like size on.

    Make sense?

    2. 30 minutes before working out take a pre workout supplement.

    I see so would you recommend protein shakes before works outs or protein shakes should be only a post work out?

  • @KarToyz Both! Some pre workout supps tell you not to eat before taking it like NO explode. It seems that is not the case with Jack3d. So have a protein shake an hour before and not longer than 90min after! The after is the most important time. You only have a window of about 90mins.

    Hey man. Ya it can get confusing. Here is what I do, but remember its just my thoughts.

    I go a big good food meal 1 hr pre training. Usually oatmeal, banana, berries, cinamon, whey protein and Peanut butter. good mix of carbs and protein. then 20 min pre gym I take my pre workout like Jack3d.

    I hit some cardio for 8-10 to get the heat up, then some mobility stuff (it sucks cus im old and busted lol). and then weights. things hit perfectly for me then.

  • @bucktwentyGeorge sounds like you got your supplements right, but remember to not RELY on supps for your gains. focus on your diet and train 3 times a week different body parts. for example do chest,shoulders, triceps on monday, wednsday do back/biceps/forearms and friday do legs/abs. focus on heavy weight man im a hardgainer like u and let me tell u nothing does it better than heavy weights, solid diet, and good supps like creatine and protein.

    Yes, you can build a tolerance to any stimulant based product (even something as simple as coffee)

    So its always important to cycle your stimulant pre workouts.

    A great product to add is Reset AD which can help with Adrenal Fatigue (which comes from too many stimulants)

    Jack3d has creatine in it, you dont need more pre workout, but some post workout wouldnt hurt.

  • Just ordered some. I used to use NO-Xplode but it was a little hard on the stomach. I'm presuming the Jack3d is much better for the stomach, without the fillers.

  • yea if this is your first time taking pre workout drinks, then i would say jack3d is perfect. start off with just 1 scoop and you will definetly feel it. i just ordered another jar so i should get it on monday :)

    You can, but i dont think its a great combo. Take some BCAAs with your jack3d, its a better choice

  • ...Endurance helps you run marathons but it does not give you the strength increase a typical heavy pump does. If your I just got the tingles with this, it tastes better then xplode, there is no diarrhea or side effects but other then that, this aint better then bsn xplode.

  • what it has done for me since i take alot of creatine anyhow. I guess there might be some endurance involved. I am currently dojng the ed coan deadlift program, aiming for a 280kg deadlift soon and i cnt figure out if the excess endurance is from this or the creatine. At least with the xplode there was the pump factor that does realitically provide the spring and power behind your reps but with this, there is no excess bloodflow, just maybe a possible increase in endurance.....

  • - I have used Xplode in the past, 1st time i took it, i felt the tremendous pump and energy, it was basically unbelieveable. I done 3 more cycles on xplode and the effects started to wear off. The side effects also included bad diarrhea and a skin rash. Well it has been 16 months since then and i thought i give this a go, it has been three sessions whilest have been using this and honestly from the bottom of my heart, this product has shown virtually no pumps at all. It is hard for me to say..

    I take 1.5-2 scoops. this is enough for me. I know some guys takin 3, i find 2 perfect.

    Yes take your whey and sugar post workout for sure, add in some berries if you can with it

  • @robkingfitness thanks for replying! is there any side effect? my friend started taking it and he told me that sleeping was really difficult. But the workout had a really good improvement, even though sometimes it can be just your consciousness. People say that 2 scoops is too strong, but it is really or just bull? right now I'm only taking my shake post workout and casein before I sleep aswell as when I wake up. I hope this comes in handy.

  • I've been using supps for about 3 years now, i'm 205 lbs, and 8% bf (off-season at the moment) I do natural shows, and i take pre-workouts frequently. I've heard LOTS about this product, and ive been on it for two weeks, and it hasnt done anything to me. From the ingredients, i believe its good, but since im used to taking pre-workouts, it hasn't clicked for me. All i would say to someone is - It's a good product (ingredient and for the $) but take it if your body is NOT used to pre-workouts.

    Greg, take a BREAK!!!! Get off the stims for a bit, pick up some Reset AD to help with Adrenal Fatigue.

    If pre workouts arent working guys TAKE A BREAK FROM THEM.

  • @robkingfitness Thanks bud, but I know what I'm doing. I take 8 weeks off in between cycles of pre-workouts, which is kosher. All I'm saying is that jack3d seems (for me) to be a bit weak if your body is used to preworkouts. Bottom line for all of these products that you review, though, is that everything works differently for everyone that takes them, which I'm sure youll agree with. Also thanks for the AD recommendation, but I play hockey, so my metabolism is pretty much constantly up. Thanks!

  • idk whats wrong but i did what u told me, i had a bottle with me the whole day and drank like 20 times while im at work for 8 hrs and right after i took 1 scoop and had a great gym session. when it started wearing out im feeling a headache, same side effects when i was dehydrated. now im fully hydrated... whats going on????

    Erik one of the ingredients can be giving you a headache. My girlfriend tried like 1/4 scoop and it gave her a headache.

    Some products just dont settle well with people.  IE SuperPump250 almost always went right through me, great energy but tore my stomach apart

    Erik if you drink a lot of canned energy drinks and pre workout drinks this isnt a good combo How much WATER are you getting a day? You need a ton of pure WATER. It sounds like your getting way too much caffeine

  • question sir, i just started using jack3d 3 days ago and this is my first time taking taking creatine, i am taking muscle juice protein after my work out. any advice for a noob like me? for now, i follow the directions and its working out good, but i notice that it keeps me up for another 3 extra hrs after my workout session. i'm 5'5 125 lbs.

    Only way around it is not take it late :(. If you train late at night it will impact your sleep. there is no way around that.

    Maybe use a non stim based one on the weekdays and if the weekend u can sleep in a little then use Jacked.
