That was a beautiful airplane, freshly refurbished and painted, but operated by an ass-hat pilot who was attempting to operate an internal combustion engine on air alone- you can do it, but not very far.........

If you think small planes are unreliable you are an idiot...you probably think they should ban guns too, because they shoot people...guns don't kill people people kill people...small planes are just fine...sometimes its just the people flying them do something wrong or something fails, but its not because they are unreliable!!! Think before you speak!!!

" is ironic...well when something FAILS, it is called UNRELIABLE. and piston engines usually fail more often than turbine. Boat engines to be exact lol. Grow a head.

According to the NTSB, report ERA09LA368, the pilot skipped a refueling stop and the plane ran out of gas. The good thing is that there was no fire.

@lavakava Small planes are fine. If you want to ban something, ban motorcycles, they have a much higher death/hours of use ratio.
