Depend of your sampling using, near or other 1 Go , gone to the XF.

You not use samples, at your choises to leave the XS or keep it.

Les sons sont peut-être excellents (je ne m'y connais guère) mais par contre, la position et les mouvements de ta main gauche me choquent. On ne voit pas trop la main droite mais ce doit être à peu près pareil car ton jeu manque de fluidité (et peut être aussi de nuances mais ça ce sont peut être les sons synthétiques). Si je puis me permettre, mon conseil serait de bosser la technique sur un vrai piano avant de vouloir du son. Un stradivarius ne transforme pas quiconque en violoniste...

Cette vidéo fait suite au test de cette banque sur mon site Moessieurs dont un des buts est de tester les banques sons vendues pour le Motif XS et d'informer les utilisateurs sur le rendu des sons.

Ici ce n'est pas mon jeu qui compte mais pour les utiliseur d e pouvoir entendre si ça correspond en terme de son à leur besoin.

I am considering buying a Nord mainly for it's piano sounds. I keep reading people saying the Nord sounds are terrible, but from the demos I have seen I love them. I am trying to figure this out. I think what I am looking for is a more raw, realistic acoustic piano sound, and maybe other people prefer a more refined piano sound like you would hear on mainstream studio recordings. I have the original Yamaha Motif, and while it has quite good piano sounds, I am thinking I need a Nord.

There is no "they", there is me, i'm french, my website is in french and i do what i can with my english school learn.

Lot of user on you tube don't understand french and ask me to done also sound bank presentation in english. So i done it how i can.

Moessieurs done test in french and presentation in french and english of sound bank for Motif XS, Moessieurs is independant to sound conceptors.

Tips videos are only provide in french.

When you have the combined sounds, like the layered pianos, or the "orchestral pianos", do those combies come with the Motif, or do you have to make them yourselves? Do the Motif's have any pre-installed combination sounds at all?

This presentation is for a sound bank for Motif Xs with samples, it''s not included in the Xs when you buy it.

You need to had dimms on your Xs to load this sounds and samples.

The layererd/orchestral voices are in this Ksounds Bank. You can done it also on the Xs, there are already voices that you can use directly with XA control or made them yourself.

When making your vid do you record the audio from a speaker to your camcorder? It sounds to crisp when listening here on youtube .. What method do you use to preserve the sound quality ?

If it's crip it due to youtube or the streaming.

The audio part is recorded thrue the n12 with firewire to cubase AI and also in the cam mic.

This audio part from the n12 is exported from cubase to wave file.

After that i open the video+ audio coming from the cam, synchronise audio cam mic with the audio of the n12, delete the audio cam part, remux the video + n12 audio FW, exported on wmv format and upload on Youtube.

The volume and normalize are check to not crip.
