  • What happens if you took a corner to fast with this car and started to drift?? would the ponys drift as well? or what if you flipped it?? lol

  • I lol'd so hard xD WTH!!!

  • Can't imagine filling that up at the gas station. Can only imagine the looks you'd get!! XD

  • sooooo, this is a joke right?

  • to je hnus nechutnej!!!!fuuuuj

  • hva om en hest ramler hva skjer da?døden?

  • What happened to riding horses?

  • Pardon me for sounding like an idiot, but...Well, what exactly does this "thing" do?

  • This is really cool!

  • Cool machine though, nice work out, even if the man doesn't do much!

  • Do they really pull the car? because there is like no way the foal can pull that! Unless he is wicked strong XD

  • WTF?!

  • Why don´t they use a cart and let the horses pull it? The weight would effect some extra training.

  • scary. This ist the nightmare of horsetraining.

  • this is an effective machine for those horses who have problems with riders say at a certain gate like race horses at the gallop, this doesnt put a jockey in danger and the horse can throw the fit it wants to and then be done with it.

  • The foal is being imprinted, he doesnt exercise every day, just enough so that they dont have to train a full grown horse to accept that crazy contraption-bucking rearing striking....

  • Dude..that foal...needs to go back in the pasture..but he is so cute:)

  • Wonder if one of these car looking ones could be modified to actually let the horse be pulling it, not just exercising but to use the horse in a more safe way on the roads? They would be more protected on the sides and look it wouldn't matter cause you would be steering and braking. All the horse would have to do is move.

And if the horse falls it stops then.

  • such the cool invention <3

  • i do agree this is a bit far fetched ,, and i dont see why you just dont ride them seriosly ,,,, but it deosnt hurt the horses ,, yes if they stopped they would get dragged IF they didnt have that harness on to hold them up

  • This is the stupid sort ideas and remarks that causes the horse industry so many problems. Please do the research before you open your mouth. Any horse would get used to this rather quickly, like they do everything else. I am sure any idiot would know when to stop the exerciser if the horse was getting fatigued or fell.

  • completely retarded. if all the horses in the wold were worked like this then thered be no equestrians. and they are inhumane considering the dangers of the horse stopping. "no errors from riders?" it just doesnt make sense.

  • wtf what is the purpose of these retarded machines? apparently this guy kurt doesnt know the bond between a man and his horse because he would know that he needs to get off his fat ass and train his own horse and not let some machine do it

  • Well... we've done well enough so far without any contraptions (take a look at Secretariat, Phar Lap, Ruffian), so why do we need them now? Treadmills are for the same purpose, however they also make the horse want to run faster (because it is not gaiing any ground on whats in front). Water is great for stamina etc. so why bother wasting time and money on this? You need people anyway... a horse might as well learn how to deal with human error

  • The only thing I question about this system is the rider error part. It says that it eliminates rider error, but what happens when a rider does come into play? No matter how good you are, you always make a mistake or two. Seems to me like the horse would have no idea on how to compensate and forgive rider error when trained on this.

  • (cont. from previous comment...)

The horses may be happy, but I do question the safety of these machines.

On a treadmill (water or dry) there are many safety shut off features from sensors to the simple emergency stop button.

What do these machines have for emergency stop? Especially the 'rail' thing. They are driven by cars, meaning there are engines. I don't see any senors or pull cords. Seems to me like the horse would just be dragged... especially in the rail one with the multiple horses.

  • This is a bit rediculous if you ask me...

I will say that all of the horses (even the foal) look very happy. If the horses disliked these machines their body language would be much different. Ex: ears back, tense, agitated, heads high, fighting. These horses have their ears forwards. They are relaxed with their heads low. They are looking around curiously. Not to mention they are willingly walking into the machine. Notice the lack of whips or 'stud chains'.

    (comment cont. in next comment...)

  • the horses shown were probably trained to handle this kind of equiptment, i bet if you stuck a horse in there who had no idea what the machine's purpose was he would buck and rear and be very unhappy

    THESE MACHINES ARE INHUMANE

WHAT IF THE HORSE DECIDES TO STOP?! ITLL JUST GET DRAGGED ALLONG

  • Debilovina podle mě! Ty lidi už neví jak vytrénovat koně bez toho aby hnuli prstem!Chudácí....

  • this doesnt stress the horses at all :)

and obviously u wouldnt buy these things, but bring ur horse to have it trained :)

  • wow...this sad! First off if you have a ton of money and are in the race world ok but what if the horse trips that could lead to a bad accident since the horse in tied with cross ties. Ok now the foal why would you want to stress the fragile legs of a foal? There bones are somewhat soft and the growth plates are not fully closed. A rider even in the race world learns the horses body language. This machine is pointless you build your relationship by actively training the horse not by a machine

  • THANK YOU!! <3

  • and plus an untamed horse in need of training would'nt handle this thing so well

  • they might as well call this the "Kurt Equine Torture System"

  • Comment removed

  • This is more for the training of Race horses than anything and I my self are in the Horse Racing industry.

and the reason that we ((us TB trainers/breeders . . .)) use this machine is because THE HORSES DONT RUN IN WATER AT A RACE! so there for we need this sort of training system

  • Im sorry hunn but thats such a lame ass excuse there animals not some sort of machine that needs tuning or reprograming ( w/e) how bout "you trainers/ breeders" ( if you can call your self that :/) get off your ass and do it your self... i mean i can see the tredmill thing ( seems safe enough) But this come on rly?

  • Neither does the horse run in a car... and also, wouldn't it teach the horse to back in or turn around in the gates? That doesnt sound to safe...

  • this...this is not right...horses are not meant to be trained by machines, the bond between a horse and its rider is forever and a machine could never replace a human!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Dude most of the time Race horse owners . . . don't even lay a finger on there horses.

Personly i do but when you own over 20+ TB race horses you don't have all that much time on your hands

and finding a good rider these days is hard but people who have a driving licence and who can follow instructions would b good for this.

  • OK that is just weird...it would work if horses were machines, and I understand the appeal of one person working out multiple horses, but over all I think it is not worth it or safe.

  • thats really cool how it trains the horse!!! even the little foals get exercised :)

stupid retards on here think this is torture. wow, u all r retarded if u think that way... :/

  • wow pretty sure this is just for the money. that foal is barely old enough to be away from its mother not even weaned whats the point? to show that you can lock horses into these contraptions and force them to work without any human contact? i wonder what the injury rate of this thing is notice how nothing is explained... cant be good. you will never catch me using any thing like this to train any of my horses ever.

  • What is it for ?

  • it looks like some sort of torture!!

    why wud u do this?

if u cant be bothered to train your own horse why buy one in the first place??!!

PLUS WHAT HAPPENS IF ONE FALLS OVER?!

  • clivelees, it trains the horse :)

it is not torture, it builds up the stamina and exercises them :)

  • The foal at 2:51 bearly look old enough to be rode, so why train it? I think this is just some money scam. Lets see how many horses me can stuff in some train, and then make them run. Really stupid!

  • what the hell is this for horses have been around for a 00's of years and have lived with out this. and my horses wouldn't do it they be like FUCK THIS SHIT

  • i support this!!! its good for the horses, not bad retard.

go harrass your friends, not this video :<

  • its stupid whats the point. i love my horses and im hooking them up to some stupid machine. excersise and a good diet is all they need.

  • it can eliminate errors caused by man. and it can exercise more than one horse at a time :)

  • Was There Any Need In The Foal And What Does It Do I Dont See The Point?

  • A foal? for gods sake. You dont NEED any of this to train a horse.

  • as if u put a foal in that comtraption.

you dont need all this technology crapp

back in the day the natives tamed wild horses no bit no nothing and they did fine.

i wish people wuld stop cramming human crap into other living beings

get on tthat bloody horse and ride it urself

if ur to lazy dont have one ?!

  • You can't get off your dead ass and train the horse yourself?

You can even keep one hand on the wheel of this thing while you stuff cheetos down your fat face, the only problem is once your ass gets too big you can't get into it.

  • WTF are they doing putting a FOAL in that thing?? This is such a dangerous machine.

  • they wouldnt be using it if it was dangerous stupid. horses are fully capapble of keeping up with the machines just fine. :)

  • this should be ILLEGAL. waste of gas and money. AND WHY DID THEY HAVE A BABY IN THERE? you know jackass TB racers with shitloads of money will invest in this shit... god i fucking hate the TB industry and their stupid BS "innovations"

  • Erm, whats the difference between this and a standard trap / cart?! The footage of it galloping is just horrid. If the horse was to trip, it'd be dead.

  • Ok, I think this is just going over board. I don't like the way the foal was put in there. If they are to be rode by humans they should be trained. also, I can't imagine how much this would cost. Also, what if the horse fell? You don't explain what would happen, saftey systems ect...

It's just, well, to robotic. Also, this seems to be about racing. There's no use - it's just stupid and idiotic. You need to work with the horses, not just put them in some car thing.

  • That's...there's so many things wrong with that, I don't even know where to begin.

  • what is the damn point of this??

theres a little thing called TURNOUT. you put the horse in a pasture and it roams free and has fun. even if i could afford that THING or w/e it is i would never buy it. what f a person pushes the horse to far and it collapses? what happens next? you run it over..yeah. never heard of this company

  • Please take a moment to explore expanded information at our web adress kurtsystems and look for the answers of your questions at FAQ page.

  • jtrhsrtjh

  • interesting

  • Are you out of your mind. Are you yourselves robots or what?? This is insane. Have you forgotten that these are prey animals and as a human (intelligent group of people -hello!!) should consider them as such. A foal?? What are you thinking. I am so ashamed of you. NEVER, EVER will I recommend your company (never heard of you either) but if I could close your shop down, I would be the first to sign up. I hope the next horse kicks you in the face!!!!

  • Let's consider the fact that ALL of histories greatest racing champions--Eclipse, Secretariat, Man O War, Phar Lap, Seabiscuit, and their elite bretheren in the trotting and steeplechase world, as well--were trained via human touch and heart, and were champions not only because of their phisiological superiority, but because of the great relationships they had with the people in their lives. Horses are social creatures. Technology can never ever hope to change that. This system fails.

  • I am left wondering if this system is used by the same heartless individuals who purchase race horses as expensive commodities, use them up like disposable sporting goods, and then sell them to slaughter when they don't produce the desired results (i.e. win millions of dollars). If this is the direction in which the horse racing industry is turning, than it truly is losing all vestiges of humanity. It's heartless.

  • So purely unnatural it's disgusting! I cannot see how this system can benefit over human interaction and attention. Why not try to remember that horses are ANIMALS and INDIVIDUAL ANIMALS at that, and that they are capable of feeling, thinking, learning, and hurting. This abominable contraption seems to be built from the viewpoint of horses as mere things, as mere biological automotons that can be exploited to earn money. There is no heart in this "training" method. It's too cold to teach.

  • What we are witnessing here is a complete breakdown of compassion for the horse. Sure this might do some really nifty things like monitor heart rate, blood pressure, body temperature, and respiration while the horse is being worked, but I would much rather see someone use technology to create a less cumbersome devise that can do the same thing WITH an actual rider on it's back. Conditioning is only one part of training. Teaching the horse to communicate with humans is far more important!

  • PURE LAZINESS!!! Discusting.

  • It's made in Turkey. They have their own website. It can make sense, they claim that they are trying to combat the breakdowns in racing by promoting conditioning. Yeah, it's a lot of money but a lot of the race trainers in the mid east have a lot of money to spend.

  • I think it's funny. None of the horses are abused. It makes about as much sense as what people spend on Pat Parasite's stuff.

  • Eh, you can't really compare the ridiculousness of this to spending money on Parelli. I'm not a Parelli fan by any stretch of the imagination, but at least most of his stuff is common sense and tries to teach people to understand horse behavior (from what I've seen of Parelli, that is).

This "Kurt System" though... holy cow. I mean, just wow. It's kind of eerie actually.

  • I don't know what to say. I guess everyone else has pretty much summed it up: this is preposterous.

  • wtf!! This is so unnatural...who in their right minds would spend money on such a thing??

  • Oooh, what happens if the power goes out?

Damn... guess Kurt won't be working the horses today...

  • Uh, insane? One of the dumbest machines i've seen i bet. I do not see any advantages.

  • I thought the whole point of having a horse is to be able to spend time with and ride it, not to hook it up to a frikin machiene.

  • this thing doesnt rub me the right way it must cost soo much money, and its basically a scam...if you want your horse to run then put it in the pasture, or lunge it. its dangerous to the horse, and every horse is different and it just cant be hooked up to a machine and be expected to be the best.

  • If the horse trips, I'm guessing one of the perople watching the horse, will slow it down...

Anywho, that's actually scaring me. All it takes is one crazy person, to set their horse up, and run them into the grund. Or, better yet, set it on auto pilot, forget about it, and come back the next day seeing your horse be dragged around the ring... Hmm... Besides, a maching can't get the horse to bend right around the corner, and the horse can't dig.

  • WOW, I'm pretty shocked by this. Horses are not machines and they should be trained as an individual. What happens when a horse breaks one of the ties and suddenly falls down underneath it? I understand there is a shortage of track work riders, but this is ridiculous!

  • What happens when the horse trips or stumbles????

  • Thanks for making me feel vivacious and ballsy about my training, Kurt Systems!

I'm such an old-fashioned badass... I actually put on a saddle and sit on the horse when groundwork is at a suitable level and cue them with my HANDS, holy shit!

Thanks to good ole Kurt it looks like the nation's obesity problem will only get worse.

  • Wow, seriously just get off your lazy ass and ride the horse. And if it's too young or hurt to ride, then it doesn't need to be running around hooked up to one of these things anyways.

  • I'd be scared to hook my horse up to one of those, and why do you need to exercise a foal?!

  • horses /and/ camels? cause who doesn't think of camel training when they think of horse training xD

  • I think that may be the most expensive nonsense I've ever seen. Wow.

  • All it'll take is one sick fuck to run the poor horse into the ground.

  • standardbreds have been trained like this for years,

  • You think they are going to spend 250million dollars and not consider something as basic as what if the horse trips? come on guys get a grip. just wait until you see the latest development of masking the horses to monitor thier respitory function and brain activity. you can freak then. but face it when there is so much money in horse trainng sole human trianing just won't cut it soon

  • What if the horse trips? Takes a bad step or freaks out in that contraption? Lazy and stupid. The galloping in that car thing... yikes. What if he falls? There would be no time to stop that thing chasing him.

  • What happens if they stop trotting? They will wear their legs down to stumps??????

  • Wow this is quite possibly the most retarded thing I have ever seen.

  • i literally laughed out loud. repeatedly.

  • This has to be a monty python vid? hahaha, it's almost as funny as the coin operated dog washer :)

  • ya this is retarded i wouldnt buy one, i happen to enjoy training horses myself

  • So what happens when the horse stops and the machien is still going....??? Bye Bye pony!

  • That was pretty much the strangest thing i have ever seen... Don't kno what to say?? aeee

  • Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaat!? that is so messed up i dont understand it and i dono if its just me but u know how many pplz y could hire to train and exercise ur horse for u 4 the cost of 1 of thoses plus for the second system who the hell has a track that bick they can build a damn monorail time thing like waaaaat!? im so shockd at the inventer of this wat kinda horse wouldnt wanna be in contcat with there rider.man..this is to allow no errors..i bet theres more with it.

  • I wonder how many exercise riders I could pay to employ for the amount of money it would cost to buy one of those?

  • what the hell...

  • An ultimately ludicrous application of technology and shameful prostitution of the divine gift of the horse. Why not simply make robotic racing horses and save the commodity animals the grief? Humans never fail to fail miserably.

  • Proof that horse racing is a mega bucks industry & race horses little more than a product, fancy sports equipment. But why not? We've substituted technology for parenting (children in front of a TV set or computer screen) And now animals -- DVDs for cats & dogs when they're left alone all day, automated feeders, automatic exercise machines for horses. Geesh. Soon people will be superfluous!

Hey, sexbots! We could replace our husbands! No mess, no fuss, no backtalk!!!

  • No cheating either... although I've heard that there are sexbots that are going to be produced soon...

  • If it didn't look so real and *expensive* and if the web site didn't exists, I would have thought it was some kind of april fool joke! Harrowing the track at the same time as exercising was a good idea 'tho. Just so weird.

  • I'm in amazement at the cost, but it's cool! The "training" aspect might be clearer as "conditioning". Monitoring heart rate, distance, etc. will benefit the horse's health. As for falling, they're pretty strapped in & would be assisted to balance. The foal's not doing any work, the car drives itself. He is out for a stroll, less strenuous than running from predators in the wild. Some horses love to run, I imagine they look forward to no one pulling on their mouths or smacking them.

  • I'm speechless. And my friends who know me know how impossible that must be.

  • .....I dont get it....

  • Is it for training race horses?

  • Mighty fancy pony sweep! Looks like it was designed by someone who was afraid of horses but needed to get the job done and had way too much funding!!!

  • could anyone tell me what this is actually designed to DO, replace, or anything esle that could POSSIBLY help me wrap my head around this whole strange thing??

I do not understand what this supposed to actually DO?

Are we going back to horse drawn cars now?

I thought we had come to some better and more viable options to replace fossil fuel.....???

I dont get it, and i have owned, trianed and ridden horses for over 30 yrs.

  • Is it for training race horses?

  • I'm pretty sure it's for lazy people who don't want to take the time to lunge or ride a horse. The horse isn't pulling it, the machine is moving, and the horse is lead along by it.

  • (continued)And aren't they uncomfortable in those straps and weights? Perhaps the biggest reason; Horses were created to run FREE. What do you think the horse enjoys more: being stuck to a machine with various ropes and /forced/ to run, or having a bonding relationship with a caring human minus all of the intimidating machinery? Just think about it. (done)

  • Here are some reasons why this system is nonsense: The horses will become used to the machinery. Yeah, nice way to take away all their fire and personality and turn them into technological drones. I mean come ON;the PEOPLE of this world are becoming dependent on technology, now ANIMALS? What if the horse falls? It will get strangled or dragged. (continued)

  • Lazy. Dangerous. Call me old fashioned but people and race horses get on fine together..no need to bring a car or a rollarcoaster into the mix. And wheres the camels? And whys there a foal on that thing? That seems so very mean.

  • Wow, horses need to learn how to react with an ACTUAL JOCKEY! Just running with a wierd little cart strapped to you doesn't help anything. In case of an emergency, does the cart stop? How can a CAMEL fit in that thing!? Seriously, this is a load of bull, I'd rather not use that devise.

  • Nothing like old fashioned training a horse to trust the rider and to work as a team. Simply silly and a huge waste of money. If you dont know enough about horses to buy one bring a smart person with you when you go to look for one. You dont need this system to test drive one. Usualy the silly human needs just as much if not more training then the horse does.

  • My first thought was, Wow, a new type o hybrid engine! Can I strap one o my horses in it and use it to get to work?

My second thought was, Damn, that's a really expensive hot walker!

And my third thought was, where's the camel?? They did say you could train a camel in it. I wanted to see the camel demo! I can only assume this is from Saudi Arabia as here in the States, we don't race camels,..

  • What would happen if a horse tripped and fell while strapped in that thing? It would either get run over or dragged. This is not a training system, what does the horse learn?

  • Not nearly as bad as you all make it out to be. Its not just a buggy these horses are dragging around. Check out the website. It keeps track of heart rates and speeds so trainers are better able to realize which horses are suitable for the track/etc. This keeps the horses from being overworked and keeps them safe in the process. And it teaches them how to move forward. I dont know about you but Id rather know that the horse Im about to get on understands the walk trot and canter before I mount.

  • There's no such info on the website of kurtsystems DOT com. I'm not sure where you found it--I couldn't even find pricing info, let alone contact info.

And in terms of teaching them how to walk, trot, and canter, and how to move forward, try a longe line. It has worked for centuries and costs about $30 US for the line and $15 US for the longe whip.

  • Why the hell are they training a foal, less than a year old? Muscles/bones are no where NEAR developed enough for this.

  • How does this teach the horse anything at all?

What happens when you, oh, I don't know, try to RIDE the horse?

  • THIS is the epitome of lazy. Do you people really think you can market this to the layman horse user? We own horses because we love to interact with them. If I wanted to mechanically work with my horse, I'd buy one of those ride-on horses outside of Wal-Mart.

And how does this "REPLACE" human intevention? The human still has to drive the stupid thing....

What's next: a machine that walks your dog for you? Get real!

  • DUMB HUMANS!

  • The makers of this machine stupidly assume that all horses have the same length of stride. Even horses of the same height can have different stride length. This thing a not going to do much beyond create leg problems.

  • Lost for words, utterly ridiculous, unecessary and who the hell are the manufacturers?

  • Everyones said it all. Stupid, unrealistic, and just weird.

  • Very futuristic and downright scary video. This device is not for anyone who truly cares about horses. This looks cruel and dangerous. Obviously intended for the super-wealthy person who uses horses as investments only and has no desire or intention to have a relationship with their horses. What would happen if an animal stumbled, or was off that day? Don't even want to think about what it would do to them psychologically.

  • Sorry but I am lost for words!

  • Id like to hear what the top jockeys think of it, was it created for the exercise riders who are all off sick?

can it tell you if a horse is stiff , off?

    SAB.

  • How utterly ridiculous, uncessary, superfluous, unpleasant and probably invented by some clever begger for idiots with too much money and not enough horsemanship.

  • The "ENDO2000" Super Delux can judge pace and it comes in pink or black..

  • ...this is training?

    WHAT IN THE SAM HELL.

Seriously. The whole point OF horses is to get out there and interact and have a partnership.. HOW IN THE HELL CAN YOU DO THAT WITH THIS?!

    STUPID STUPID STUPID!

  • Unbelievable!!! Someone please tell me what the point is? surely it would be easier and cheaper not to mention in the horses best interests to just employ riders!

  • That is really cruel!!!

  • It's cruel...

  • Stupid. Danergous. Degrading to the horses. Lazy. Ignorant.

Sums it up. The jack asses.

  • Quick! Somebody grap me a strap to rig up to my Ford Truck... that way I can drag my horse behind it and market in the name of 'training'.

    Now I've seen it all....

    Complete disregard for the horse!

  • That just says it all. I totally agree. Why don't we just all get our cars and make our horses run infront?

  • I think this has to be the most laziest way of training I have ever seen! Not to mention dangerous!

  • I'm guessing good old fashioned trackwork has been replaced by some weird horsey roller coaster?? Strange. Very strange.

  • This is soooooo wrong!!!!!! WTF?!

  • Very sad for the horses. If you don't have the time to train your horse by building a bond with him. Then don't have a horse! Magnificent animals, reduced to humans automatons.

  • WTF??? Did a group of people sit around, get stoned and have a contest to come up with the stupidest, most redundant and pointless invention and this was the winner?

  • omg, that's just messed up. I couldn't even watch the whole thing O_o

A little dangerous don't ya think?

  • Endo, ahhh, I'll help if I can.. I'll take a pair in a size 2...

  • my job is in jeapordy! Endo, wranglers??? come on, I like the pink pants...

  • They stop making the pink pants because they weren't popular and I need some orders to get the maker to start production again..

Who want's to help me bring sexy back..?

  • Evil mad scientists...

  • Buy me!! Buy me!!

    I'm a cheaper and I've got some Wrangler's now..

  • You gotta be kidding...

  • completely stupid!

  • Gee...whatever happened to just RIDING your horse!?

  • wow, thats stupid...

    and dangerous.

  • I'd hate to see what happens in an accident...

  • that...is...ridiculously funny...those people look like robots...i couldn't get my horse in one of those things even if he was sedated

  • i dont get this plz explain..
