I can't imagine playing this game over real Magic online... It's cool for new players and a great way to learn the basics of the game, but not being able to completely construct decks from scratch is basically taking away 50% of the Magic experience.Not to mention the card selection.
If you like playing Magic, check out MAGIC WORKSTATION which allows you to play for free online (see ads at top or pay to remove them but they don't affect game play at all). It would actually make for a great video for Nixie to do, showing people how to setup and use the program to play people online. The only downside of the game is that you cannot play with three or more people YET, but maybe down the road I might be convinced to write a version that allows that. (Magic's blessing of course)

Game was horriable just tragic, but magic is great so I put up with it; next time don't spend all your money on 'cool' effects just spend it on putting more cards in when I can play standard on x-box that will be cool. However credit where credits due, that intro was awesome.

It has been a few years since I've played M:TG. A friend gave me a pile of card for free, and from those cards I've build a RED-WHITE Elemental Deck. It's far from perferct, probably not that effective, but it's a fun deck to play with. Any tips for RED/WHITE Elementals decks ?
@ShinobiGarth I'm thinking about returnint to M:TG. Need to hunt for some new Elelemntal creatures. It sucks that there are only two White Elemental Creatures. At least that's the amount I've found traversing the web. What I like about red i the "fire power". And i like white because of the healing/protection.

I remember MTG being fun but also being expensive. Even the online stuff was pretty expensive. To be any decent you had to spend a decent amount of money. I rather buy other computer or video games than some online or IRL packs.

I immediately bought MTG DOTP 2012 after watching this. I had been playing the old one for some time, but the inability to switch card pissed me of. Also the campaign seems a lot harder which is nice, it didn't take me too long to beat both vanilla and expansion. One problem though: it still doesn't allow you to choose which lands to tap. which is kinda annoying when you want to save a swamp for some instant removal. Though so far it have only been a problem once.
The Magic business model is genius. Legal crack. It is an addiction. I never had anything to do with the game. I prefer tabletop role-playing games. Pathfinder for the win.
Returning player right here! Wasn't for duels though. I actually met a bunch of people who played duels and it reminded me of how much I love the game. I've been playing for eleven years now!

The Deck Manager needs the ability (like your hand in game) to stay zoomed in and switch between cards. Would make it easier to find that one you're trying to take out!

The Deck Manager needs the ability (like your hand in game) to stay zoomed in and switch between cards. Would make it easier to find that one you're trying to take out!
