this really needs subtitles...I don't speak arabic but I am interested in what is happening there. This looks so interesting but unfortunately i can only understand some names...
And today, the Queen moved her project to Palestine starting in Jerusalem where school pupils living under occupation rule face two options: either to enroll in the Israeli school system which drives them step by step further from their Palestinian identity and culture, or to enroll in schools run by charity associations which preserve the Palestinian identity but are not recognized as ‘special education institute’.
Translation of the intro part 2: The new thing about this initiative is that it depends on entities between the school and local families and the participation of non-governmental organizations.
Translation of the intro part 1: Two years ago, Queen Rania Abdallah launched a project named ‘My School’ in Jordan which seeks to provide better education facilities and to meet the required level of education for approximately 163,000 students in approximately 500 school across Jordan.
it's really funny when accuse her of doing nothing to palestine as if she is the only person in the world who can fix this or she is the main reason that people suffer there because of her doing nothing , nothing is good enough for you w law betwale3 asabe3ha el 3ashara for you , you'll keep denying cuz ma bemla 3eenkom 3'eer l trab
This attention on schools in Jerusalem and enhancement of education and curriculum will allow the children to recapture their love of existence as they get the opportunity to regain their sense of the world and learn at full capacity. Impossibility will become possibility. I commend you Queen Rania. You have earned great respect with this supreme gesture of action on behalf of the children of Jerusalem. Hopefully, this will generate future attention on all schools in the West Bank and Gaza.
I will be praying for you Queen Rania and for your people. Though I am a Catholic, I believe we are all Children of God....and your heart have touch mine greatly, for your courage and great works, that are all given by your noble yet so humble heart.
I only wish someday I will meet you....you are an inspiration, to me and I know to the world. May God always protect you, your King, your children and your Kingdom! Sallam!
I love watching Ramia's videos, I would love to hear or read this in English or spanish. I can guess from the pictures this is a Palastinian area. some of these clips are from Ramia's videos about a small "hole in the wall" Palastinian school. she did that in Arabic and another in English, both great! Ramia is great! :-)
i woul be great to have subtitles in spanish also, here in latin america are also interested in this subject, specially in Chile were the palestinian comunity is so big.
@woosteria hard to translate 22 mins due to space but after initial intros the interview starts at 00:42
host: two years ago, Queen Rania al Abdullah launched "Madrasati" ("My school") project from Jordan. The project aims to provide a better learning environment, and raise the quality of education for approximately 163,000 students at around 500 schools across Jordan. What's new about this project is that is based on the cooperation of the school and the parents in the local communities.. "
