If only this could still work in Duodecim (without Rulesets!), heh heh. Anyway...

To pull off something like this, there's a few accessories that would be helpful, namely:

Close To You

Gravitorb (or the weapon Heaven's Cloud, either or)

Pearl Necklace

Gold Hourglass

And easily maintained booster accessories (After Summon [self], Large Gap In HP, and the like, as examples). The ability EXP To ExForce also helps, of course.

And thank you! Inward Chaos is really tough. @_@ (Or I'm still just that bad at this game. ^_^; But I hope I'm at least getting better.)

@BohepansTheThird Btw, what setup did you use? I noticed you weren't losing EX force as fast when your HP was at 100%, but when you took that hit from Jecht Blade, you started losing it at a quicker rate.

@hawk222 I can't say all of it for sure, as I've probably changed my Gabranth setup at least once since this fight and this wasn't on my master file, but I can at least take a guess as to what accessories I had. Self: HP=100% (1.5 boost) Self: After Summon (1.5 boost) Self: EX Mode (1.3 boost) [2 equipped] Gold Hourglass Close To You Gravitorb Sniper Soul Pearl Necklace Not sure on the 10th accessory...possibly a Silver Hourglass or something.

I hate it when you throw combos and attacks into every strike, they dodge and miss every single one and counter with attack which sends their Bravery up to 7000+!

Blocking instead of dodging can lead to bad things, even when you meant to dodge. @_@ ...Especially against people like Jecht.

And, now I see what you mean about misinterpreting what the characters say O_o "I'll cleave you!" sounds like "I'll clean you!" to me @_@ ...No thanks Gabranth, I can wash myself, thank you.

Nice touch including the FFXII victory theme. How did you go about doing it? I want to know if you do it the same way I do.

I admit, it was a last-second idea, so I ended up just using cheap Windows Movie Maker shortcuts, heh. Basically I muted around "You should not have misjudged me" (I see what you did there, Squeenix!). I can't figure out how to mute the victory music in actual replays, though, or at least can't remember - the game will have no background music playing if I select "No BGM" and save it, but for some reason it sometimes still has the victory theme. Don't know why. Maybe I'm "dong it wrong", heh.

I had a feeling that was what you did...but selecting "Mute BGM" or whatever from the Options menu on the main menu should remove the victory theme in your replays as well, from my experience...at least, that's what I remember getting to work. Hm.
