But there are also laws against stalking, and taint pictures of children with out parental permission(which the press gets away with all the time. There are only laws that protect celebs after the fact. Which means it's up to us, his fans, to get involved. The game plan is simple. If you see something like this going down, get in the papp's face. Let Rob know you're running blocker. Give him time to get away. Be as much of an assclown as these papps were being to him.

They got pissed because he wouldn't give an autograph and pose? Whether celebrities know what they are getting into or not, it is ridiculous that they have no remnants of a life. Did they really need a thousand pictures of him walking around? It is crazy. I don't like to cough in public and bring attention to myself, I cannot even imagine what they have to go through on a daily basis.

The law should protect EVERYONE from harassment. It doesn't. --WHY IN HELL NOT?!!!! That was sickening- the cops wouldn't even help him out. Those photographers are soulless $#@#$ and people shouldn't have to deal with that experience; how traumatic. How shockingly awful. It's disgusting, there are no other words for it.

He's so, so sweet, it saddens me to see him like this. Okay, it's their job (papparazzis), but they could've taken a couple of photos and leave him alone. But noooo...those assholes were following the poor guy around.

Rob is a very good guy, papparazzi bother him a lot!!! Poor Rob, but he must know that he have a lot of very good fans that love him and support him regardless of any choice he make. I at least not just love him because of Twilight and Edward Cullen. I love his way of acting and i completely understand he want to have more serious roles. i love you robert, but not just for Twilight

If you only saw these people in the movies when you saw them, and didn't constantly get reminded of who they date, what they wear, where they go, and every little thing, people probably wouldn't put them on these ridiculous pedestals and idolize them nearly as much as we do. The paparazzi turn them into zoo animals, it's absurd.

And sure, people can say “it comes with the job” or “its freedom of the press”, but when some innocent by stander dies in a car crash, caused by these idiots, what’s going to be the excuse then? There should have been a law passed a long…..time ago to protect the general public, including actors, from the papparazzi. I’m sure more than a few LA residents have had a close call with these idiots.

A friend of my saw this video and send me here cause she told me that when I saw this I would even respect him more. And she's soo right.. I feel so sorry for him.
He ask them over and over again to leave him alone and he asks it nice.
He also said that he doesn;t mind them taking pictures but there has to be an end. and not the whole day the same paparazzi.

I see this and I think to myself, distracted driving! You'd think the PD could do something about it. It must be very hard to drive with cameras in your face, cars following you and all that.
