  • SAW HIM IN A CLUB IN 78 ! THE MAN ! PLAYED FOR 2 HOURS ! TICKETS COST 8 BUCKS ! DAMN IM OLD !

  • fuck women!

  • ....DELTA BLUES is a harder form of blues. Regular blues has 3 chords while Delta has 9 plus it's progression. That's differentiate JW from the rest.

  • MasterPiece!

  • Oh God did Johnny really get down here. Every cut you send just keeps' me high all day. Thanks x, Huichol53.........

  • Saw Johnny way back in 1977 at the Chrysler Hall in Norfolk,Va. Me and my mate rolled up two hooters, got HAMMERED on the way to the show, and had the best time ever. Johnny fricken' rules, all the others like SRV are great players but they ain't Johnny. This man has been through hell and back and is still jammin'.May you be blessed for your great musicianship, Johnny, the best blues guiatrist, livin' Or dyin", in my lifetime!

  • @neojoe100 yeah,he is the greatest fo ever on any guitar,on any style,on any speed. And a singer too.

He should have at least 5 Grammys already and a place in RR Hall of Fame. Many less talented but better managed have both.Johnny R U L E S!

  • @neojoe100 - That's right! SRV was amazing and God bless him, but with Johnny it's not even a guitar anymore, it's something else. It's a projection of his soul like Jimi Hendrix did in his way. It's beyond music. It's superduper music of the Gods! I've seen Johnny over 200 times from 1971 to the present and he knocks it outta the park every time!

  • Women love each other but they ain't...yes, yes

  • @grafenwohr73 and cwjohnnypro, in the album-sleeve winter describes nicely how he found this guitar (looks like a '30s national duolian/triolian*) and how hard it toke him to master it; too hard (in his words) to take it out on the road and that's really too bad... i'd love to see him play on!!!

*what's very interesting on the guitar is the star-dots on the fret-board... ;-)

  • I got to chill with Mr Winter in his bus after a show...best day ever

  • the real shit.... i think he is a very underrated acoustic god....

  • @91Lizardking Maybe, but bring up his name around people who know music.

    He's respected.

  • you tell 'em Johnny

  • Mercy.

  • anybody kno wat kind of guitar JW is holding at about 3:10?

  • @CWJohnnyPro Gonna guess that it is a National Steel. Don't what year but the nickel finish has rubbed off so it has some serious blues run through it.

  • @grafenwohr73 it could be but it looks like an electric guitar not a national but i have no clue either way it looks wicked!

  • people like you are in it....

  • Damn,... I used to have this,.. I just remembered about it!!!! I must of lost it or left it somewhere,.. now I gotta buy it again.

  • Johnny Winter rocks!!

  • Johnny said he loved the sound of the National Steel guitar because "It sounds like a garbage can with strings". Yeah, man. That's a deep funky country blues sound! Johnny is the best there is!

  • Awesome:)That Sound is Priceless:)

Heart and Soul all the Way:)Long Live The Blues:)

    Bluesy

  • great

  • A friend of mine asked me if I wanted to jam with Sarasota Slim in St. Pete, FL back in 1989.

I said "Sure !"..halfway there, he pulled out Johnny Winter tickets. One of the best shows I have ever seen, and I have been to hundreds. Slim opened for him..but I just tried to stay sober. I went back to Janis for JW the next year, and to another club the year after that.

    Johnny..take care..we Love you.

  • there is a vid of this out there! i will find it!!!
