  • Hello agent Couper!

    I didn't kill Laura Pallmer!

  • Hello agent Couper!

  • This song sounds like it came off The Cure's "Faith" album. It's very close to the rhythm section and synth loops of the song "Funeral Party".

  • @djkitt I've always thought the same

  • 44 People Already fell!

  • Angelo Badalamenti was a genius at drawing emotions from his music.

  • This sounds great stoned!

  • Damn good coffee...and hot!

  • With broken heart, it really hurts to listen and watch this. Very beautiful song indeed..

  • Are we falling in love......don't let your self be hurt this time...<3

  • 44 people will not be getting a message from Mrs. Lanterman's log...

  • Hehe, they spelled her name incorrectly.

  • @braveblunder ...yes it is...it is a truly beautiful tribute to my Laura...I miss her so much

  • WHO dislikes this song?

    Are you quite well?

  • I loved the first season of the series and my favorite episode was episode 10 of the second season, but after that the series just fell apart. They should just have ended the series at that point.

  • I rember this song from my youth. Man I feel old. Great song, though a bit depressing. Great nonetheless!

  • I love you so much Laura....I miss you baby...thank you Julee for writing this beautiful song in remembrance of my first love.....peace out

  • spelling music and atmosphere. I remember it vagelly , but the charcters were wired and profound.

  • i really love this song and the series..

  • the song is wonderful for a not so special movie

  • @askadetra - It's the theme for the series, not the movie.

  • @BlueSmurf10 series is a kind of movie, so it is the same if i say movie or series.

  • Brings tears to my eyes. Twin Peaks was based on a true story. When I turned 16 (1987) my parents moved to Seattle. It was here I met a girl named Laura, we fell in love, she was my first and will always be my true love. We went camping at Cedar River. I woke in the middle of the night to find Laura missing. I searched everywhere for her but couldn't find her. Three days later the police found her downstream in the Cedar. The police officer in charge exclaimed, "She's dead, wrapped in plastic"

  • @TheCrocHunter1 are you for real?

  • @TheCrocHunter1

    fail troll is fail

  • @siouxsieisdead ...How dare you speak ill of my love Laura?!! How dare you speak such derogatory comments to a great Crocogrorian Warrior...I shall hunt you down like the vermon you are, and devour you in a 2 day human sacrificial feast ceremony....you have 2 weeks left to live, enjoy!

  • @TheCrocHunter1

    i approve your haunting

sounds pretty twin peak style =D

  • His voice so beautiful......Romantic

  • His voice so beautiful ......Romantic

  • Twin Peaks scared the crap out of me back then now I am so jaded about the nature of evil it would take a lot to shake me up now.........

  • @Thimotej747 do you really need to spoil the most interesting plot in the celluloid history?! I think you would have easily cried if someone spoilt the end :) I would have!

  • @naan0905 Yes, you right. It was wrong, I didn't think of that. I'll delete it now.

  • Great song

  • It's a long way from this to reality TV.

  • don't let your self be hurt this time.

  • @shelvedanddusty bob's a demonic spirit, but bob can also be viewed as a symbol of evil. bob is never going to be arrested just like evil itself is never going to be arrested. on the one hand, bob is emblematic of the malicious worm that can enter even the purest of hearts... on the other hand, bob is very REAL insomuch as evil itself is very REAL. The symbol has all the substance of a real character... while the character has the complexity of a symbol. they one and the same

  • @zapaliczka 45

  • @zapaliczka devil made thoose accounts:)

  • @zapaliczka bob ...

  • 'who killed laura palmer................ every time i see a lone train car i think of....laura

  • There was so much that was just fucking great about Twin Peaks. I sure do miss those days. You'd get so caught up in the life style. It was classy, wild, & just stunning.

  • @MrSkinnn Get caught up in the lifestyle is right. Expresses my feeling exactly. You'd want to be a part of that town, friends with those people....part of the mystery. And when each episode ended, you'd feel a little empty, a little sad...a little lost. This was beyond a television show. This was pure magic.

  • @Aetius76 "..... when each episode ended, you'd feel a little empty, a little sad...a little lost. This was beyond a television show. This was pure."

You are right, I still feel lost when I hear this music and want to go back to that time. One of my goals is to work on re-inventing myself using the pure quality and intense in the moment focus that was Twin Peaks.

  • nice,beautifull film end song

  • NOTICE the weird TYPO on the video, spelling here name "Julle"? Strange, because there is another VH1 video of this same song on here with the correct spelling...Just curious about the real spelling, it's "Julee" at the title is correct here ...

  • every song in Twin Peaks is haunting... but this is so beautiful

  • wendy

  • solos en la noche...

  • floating love song TT I love it

  • The soundtrack to a million romances. Genius!

  • Fire walk with me ...

  • Julee Cruise - Falling = Jan Hammer - Crockett's theme

  • Gracias gran poste y gran canción.

  • this song seems really powerful to me tonight. came onto youtube and looked it up just to say that, lol

  • Como dicen por ahi, si hay un cielo, este será el tema que toquen sin duda. A la altura de la serie de los 90.

  • If there was a Heaven, this would be the theme song.

  • @sweiland75 Then I've got my fingers crossed for hell

  • @sweiland75

and yet, it's the song of a living hell where everything burned in the fire that came with Laura's death.

  • @sweiland75 how boring Heaven would be

  • @freakiscream

Boring?! We are very close to the End of Time, where the global wave function will collapse in collective consciousness....prepare to travel in the Multiverse...!!!

  • @sweiland75

There is a heaven .. and this IS the theme song.

  • perfectly!

  • war schon ein schräger film-aber geil....und tolle mucke irgendwie

  • When you see your beloved's face and their smile it creates such a strong feeling and JC captures it perfectly.

  • don't get me wrong but the song is better sans vocals!

  • 20 f'king years!!!! you kiding me!!??? lol yep, 20 years.

great song. by the way, who killed Sarah Palmer!??? lol

  • @andrejurado her father , and he can also transform in another man

  • @Zorulembo He doesn't transform into Bob, Bob is Laura's representation on her father at night, to bloke out the reality that it is her father who is abusing her.

Hence 'he' comes into my room at night rather than 'my Dad'.

Little bit of trivia, Bob was first brought in by mistake, he was a lighting guy who was accidently caught on camera in a reflection in a mirror, David Lynch loved it and made Bob a character to represent of Laura's father.

  • @kpsuk OK, but her father is a killer isnt it?

  • @Zorulembo I am repeated myself loool

  • @Zorulembo Yes her father kills her when he accidently hires her for sex.

Laura was working as an escort and her father had been using an escort for some time and asked her to bring a friend, the friend turned out to be Laura. Her (Laura) father flips and attacks them, putting the other girl into a comma and killing Laura. He puts her body in the river to float away and that is where Twin Peaks all starts... Showing Laura's body floating in the river.

  • @kpsuk If Bob isn't just Laura's representation of her father. Leland said he encountered bob as a boy and thats where it all started. Not to mention, if Bob is something of Laura's minds creation then how come her mom and cousin Maddy can see him and Dale sees him after the death of Josie? Also, how would you explain the presence of Mike and "man from another place" (Mike's arm)?

  • @Thatonemovienerd I'd say:

Leland 'encountered' Bob when he first found he had 'urges' towards his own daughter, similar to Laura seeing Bob as a representation of her father, Leland saw him as 'someone else' detaching himself from his own actions. I'd say a similar thing would work for Laura's Mother who in her own way is in denial of her husbands actions

  • Respond to this video...

  • In the series Leland mentions that he met BOB as a little boy at pearl lakes, he used to flick matches at him and say you wanna play with fire. BOB posessed leland as a young boy and controlled him most of his life, which was shown true in many of the surreal scenes taking place in the black lodge in both the series and the movie, BOB was a spirit of pure evil, and that also explains how MIKE was able to find him, he exuded a spiritual energy a demonic energy that was unnatural.

  • @Thatonemovienerd Maddy's uncanny resemblance to Laura which in turn drew Leland to eventually kill her too, I'd guess meant that Maddy in Lynch's surreal fashion, could see Leland as the killer in the form of Bob. As for Dale, well he saw lots of things throughout the series, including being involved in a number of dreams that featured Laura.

Bob is Lynch's representation of evil, so in my opinion he is Leland's evil urges, something that affected Laura, her Mother & Maddy.

As for Dale, well he saw lots of things throughout the series, including being involved in a number of dreams that featured Laura.

Bob is Lynch's representation of evil, something that affected Laura, her Mum, Maddy & Dale.TP is a surreal program, events should not be taken literally.

  • @kpsuk We'll as is the case with most surreal film works, Twin Peaks especially, since it ends on a cliff hanger, I believe it is meant to be discussed among fans.

  • @Zorulembo I believe he was possessed by the demonic entity known as Bob

  • @kpsuk I'm sorry, but Lynch and Frost definitely intended for Bob to be viewed as a malignant, if not demonic spirit. This is clearly evident in the episode in which Leland dies, when Bob finally manifests himself before Agent Cooper and the others, then leaves Leland and is shown to be entering an owl in the final shot. Better yet, Bob possesses none other than Cooper himself in the final episode of the series. Also, Laura goes knowingly to her death so she too will not be possessed by Bob.

  • what a good theme we just don't get them like this do we I really do miss my childhood

  • song written by David Lynch

  • I recently heard this haunting song and cannot get it out of my head. I don't want to get it out of my head! The voice is so beautiful.

  • @TheCrocHunter1 fucking liar

  • @MrMonsterstiffy.......Show some fuckin' sensitivity for fuck sake.....That is the absolute truth......and I am still haunted by losing my true love, over 20 years on....I love you so much Laura.

  • @TheCrocHunter1 aww! boo hoo!

  • @TheCrocHunter1 wtf?! is that true or are you mocking us?! -.-'

  • @1phantaz ....it is the absolute truth. Not a day goes by in my life when I don't think about Laura...I loved her so much and still do.

  • @TheCrocHunter1 now that iswhat i call fanboystyle eheheh :D

i am actually reviewing the series and it still blows me away... audrey is my 'female fetish' if i may call it that way (no obession on this one, i can assure you ahahah)

  • WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT "TWIN PEAKS - FIRE WALK WITH ME"???

I DIDNT THINK IT IS TOO BAD BUT IT BOTHERS ME THAT YOU CANT UNDERSTAND LYNCH MOVIES! AND WHEN YOU WANT TO UNDERSTAND IT YOU NEED TO READ ANALYSIS+INTERPRTATION!

    WHAT DO YOU THINK???

  • @FRAANT07 I DON'T KNOW BUY I FEEL LIKE SCREAMING IT -- RAAAAAHHHH, HEAR ME ROAR!!

  • tunage :)x

  • hey, I forgot...who killed Laura Palmer?

  • that series was just way bizarre. I watched the it, but it was like idk falling into someone else's dream and you had no idea what was going on. the song is truly classic though. which version is better...with vocal or sans vocal? i can't really decide.

  • I saw this series at age of 12-13.

  • As if i needed another reason to love David Lynch, he introduced me (and the rest of the world) to Julee Cruise.

  • Ich traume ..das ist wunderbar .

  • Twin Peaks lead directly to so many shows. How many shows now (and since) have FBI leads investigating? How many combine criminal investigation (police, FBI, CSI, and others) with a Holmes-style deductive method employed by a quirky, intelligent lead? How many were ambitious enough to tell an ongoing story, with dozens of characters, with mystery and character as its center, and rely on the audience's IQ? ...well, maybe one. "Lost". Now we wait another 20 years for the stars to align again.

  • @greyeyed123 agreed but dont forget the wonderful soundtrack ,this knid of thing just couldnt happen these days

  • @settingson4 Did you catch the episode of "Psych" a couple weeks ago? It was a spoof of TP called "Dual Spires", and featured Julie's singing, as well as appearances by quite a few TP actors. (This is the only episode of Psych I've ever seen, or probably ever will, but it sure was fun seeing some of our gang together again...even if it was just a spoof.)

  • I don't know what I like better, this or the plain intro.

  • @johnnylarkin

of course Angelo:) thanks. (this is stereotype-every italian is Antonio) ;)

  • I love this song. And the show was amazing. One of my favorite tv shows ever. I wish someone like HBO would bring it back. I think on that network it would have been even better.

  • @rxtechjames after seeing what amc did to the prisoner...no thank you

let it just stand as the most iconic american tv show ever created

  • Just getting back into the series Twin Peaks now its being shown again on Horror Channel, so long since hearing "Damn fine Cherry Pie", and that haunting theme tune. A totally fascinating tv series.

  • I really liked this series, but it was really confusing.

  • how could this series miss? an intro of a Duane Eddy style guitar work, a plot that was exciting and down right weird. Give me back CREATIVITY, not CLONE TV.

  • @havenoneatall it got really truly nonsensical bizarre towards the end with almost as many plot theories as lost, and well come on, david lynch was involved. remember lost highway? i defy almost anyone to say that made sense. aside from that it was AWESOME. one of the first tv series i followed all the way to the end other than "soap". for the story. fringe is coming close, but i doubt you'll see television like this again for a while.

  • @havenoneatall You know what? People fucking suck.

  • Antonio Badalamenti, Julie Cruise and her voice ,Twin Peaks ...fuck ,man thats all is so wonderful!

  • Best show eva! Nothing can compare...NOTHING!

  • Who killed Laura Palmer? A demon.

    Writers.. don't take drugs mkay?

  • @Essefen

You didn´t get a thing south park kid...

  • who cares about the series !!! beautiful !!!!

  • Thumbs up if you agree that, as brilliant as they are, the Nadine/Big Ed and Lucy/Andy love affairs are far too hilarious to be taken seriously in the context of this song.

  • this series just started on cable and hopefully will grasp it this time

  • her voice is so quiet i can barely hear it ):

  • twin peaks was a great series and the sountrack was also great.

  • I was born in 1991. I remember growing up in the 90's, i grew up with pearl jam, bush, smashing pumpkins, nirvana, REM,... All amazing bands, When i was 12 i realised what i had missed, i would give anthing to have experienced those times being 16..

  • Kakva melodija,od ovoga moze da se rikne

  • @MrDexPfc rikne ko lav

  • this song just takes me inside my memories...a very calm, longing feeling...

  • 32 dislikes? why?

  • Twin Peaks - forever!

  • Fire, walk with me.

  • damn i searched this song for so long and i finally find it i remember it since i was a very little kid

  • @SileDevil me too :)

  • So David Lynch wrote the lyrics to this song?

  • @deistmutt Yes he did!
