How brilliant that this is here - I have it on VHS however was so entranced that I missed pressing 'play' at the start of about Part Three - am now watching to see, what did I miss, when I was a 5th grader, taping this show for my Dad... thank you!!
its a moisin-nagant with a fake flintlock attached to the side...the reason it was probably used was because flintlocks misfire about 20% of the time, and a movie company cannot afford to refilm hundreds of people because of a misfire...most of the hollywood films use phony flintlocks of this sort but they look a little more realistic
