Fair call, you pay money for a product, you expect it to be built and assembled properly. Especially with a name such as Orange attached to it... Don't blame you for being dissapointed. Would, however, have been good if you did a sound test on the little bastard as well. :-)

@GigglingDickhead I'll go with wood glue, and I didn't need to buy any as I am fully tooled up to deal with this.... but WHY should I have to stick back together a product that was poorly built? Not once but twice and about a month apart!
I got a micro crush today and i dropped it down the stairs by accident this morning and have to say it took the fall particularly well its still in perfect working order and not even a scuff on the thing, i think you must have just gotten incredibly bad luck when it came to it.
Mine works great! Hasnt fallen apart. But I got mine from an actual store. You broke the number one rule... NEVER BUY AND THING SMALL OR UNDER $500 ONLINE!
Awesome review! I was thinking of buying another marshall or get one of these but seeing this i totally agree, the marshall may be plasic but at least it holds together and is as portable as it could be. They're so small they're never gonna sound like a full sized stack/combo anyways so the sound's never going to be perfect. Thanks for thee un-biased review!
Just got one of these today. The first thing i had to do was to open it and attach the grill. It had a 1,8 cm gap at the bottom. This can't be good for Orange's reputation. But hey, it is a "Made in China" product (sorry PRC) so i had this feeling about it. Sounds pretty ok though.
Wow! The Amp Gods must really have it in for you buddy. Orange has been selling these little beauties for a few years now. Your woes are a new one on me. I have had one of these for about a year and know a couple of friends who own them too. We all love our Micro Crushes. My own Micro has been beaten around pretty bad and still looks and sounds unbelievably good. I have even stuck my Shure SM57 mic in front of it and gigged with it in local clubs.
Good to know the build quality didn't used to be this bad, but it does appear to have dropped considerably with the latest models. Sound of the amp is good but if the build is like what I experienced...
@DaleCampbellAcoustic I got this amp last week and it plays beautifully. It's in good shape and hasn't fallen apart and I was going to put in those strap buttons but I don't have any straps for it. I think it really just depends on where you get it from, Orange wouldn't be selling this amp and getting away with it if they made it so terrible like yours in the video.
awesome review of a not ready for prime time product. The product might work ok and sound ok. But it just is not portable at all and needs fixing by the customer...ie glueing. Who needs that.
Ha Ha, Just remember that at one time, Japanese stuff was considered poor quality too. Not the case these days, My Japanese made Takamines are excellent and I know you're in Britain, but it's down right UN-American not to own a Japanese car. The point is, they are in their infancy, as far as manufacturing is concerned. Keep your little amp boxed for about 30/40 years and get a return you can BOAST about.
Alas I fear it will have dissolved long before then and will not maintain as new condition! (though this is pretty much how the first one came so maybe that will be the thing collectors look for)
Just recorded the video last night, considering gluing it up at the weekend..... or maybe returning it that uk orange address on the box and sending a link to this video.....
Wow! you must be really unlucky! I have one of those and if dropped it down the stairs, knocked it off the desk and everything and it still works!

Been playing mine for 1 1/2 years. Still in great condition. I don't take exceptional care of it either. This looks like bad luck to me.

All ok with mine, and sounds great for it's size.

This looks like shipping damage. Was it shipped in the box you show here or was it in another box as well?

maybe next time review the sound of the amplifier. Seeing as that is its purpose.
I dont want to see a video of moaning about a faulty amp.

A great mini amp that blows the competition away

Wow - what a piece of crap...
Did you actually glue it back together and try to get some use out of it?
Fun review style - I'll have to check out Dr. Ashens. I've never seen his stuff before.
Nice vid!

Sound isn't bad for what it is, I really wanted to like this.... but after the second one ended up this way!
To market it as a small portable amp and not make just a bit more durable is beyond me, though they do seem to be manufacturing defects.

Thanks! Not quite sure what is up with the video quality might improve later on once its been up for a while..... hopefully
