Walter is just such a damn fantastic character and John Noble is beyond incredible imo. When he's at his saddest and weakest, when he cries, I as an audience actually find it hard to watch him like that. As if I wish I could give him a hug. He truly feels like an overgrown, fragile child when he is at his most vulnerable moments. And no character has really gotten out that kind of empathy in me. Superb job.

I agree. The scene where Walter gets the White Tulip just signifies it. Such an emotional scene and not one word said. Almost made me cry, and I'm not even ashamed to say it.

I agree with everyone here. WHY hasn't he been atleast NOMINATED for an Emmy. John Noble's performance as Walter Bishop is breathtaking. All the different emotions he show, he can do emotional and sad scenes just as amazing and great as he does funny scenes. Isn't that what it takes to be nominated for an acting award? Becoming the character and showing realistic emotions? I hope he will get nominated in the future and that this wont go down as one of the most underrated performances ever.

@Admiralharu i think this man deserves a Emmy too, but I also though every one nominated deserved that same honor. Personally, I think there just wasn't enough room to include the wonderful John Noble, but I'm sure Fringe will have it's year to shine as the writing gets better and the acting gets more intense and amazing there'll be even more people to appreciate this great show, including those ignorant judges at the Emmies.

I hope Walter gets a better season in season 3, he went through hell in 2 I felt so bad for him.

I mean the way the story is going all the charcters are having a bad time but Walter seems to be taking it real hard, it made me sad :-(
