The Kawi has a too aggressive style in my opinion. For those who like sporty style, that is nice. It also looks is faster, a more race track bike. But for realistic and day to day usage I would go Triumph.

Z1000 or Speed Triple? Thats easy. KTM 990 Super Duke. Brembo brakes, WP suspension, 1000cc V-twin, 5 gallon gas tank and 450 lbs wet. Love mine :)

Honestly though you just can't go wrong with a street fighter. Cruisers can only dream of having the power and handling of a street fighter while your buddies on their super sports will want to stop every 30 minutes and pretend to get fuel while they stretch lol love the Z1000 and Speed Triple too.

@DarkPops666 Well I've ridden both, and they are both awesome. The trump feels nothing like a tractor - it has a ripping engine, the handling is incredibly light, the brakes are awesome. It's a sweet package.

The z1000 is nice, but you have to wring it to get at the power.

Still probably going to get a z1000 though, because I prefer the futuristic styling to the bug eyed headlights.

The triumph a better street bike than the z1000. like the guy said you got to ring the z1000 neck to get at the power. ( which causes a lot of attention) where as the speed triple the power is right there off the bottom just twist the throttle and go. I think the z1000 looks way better than triumph cause the speed triple design is getting old.

First: Its the "speed triple" not the "street" as the title indicated. Second, both different bikes. The Z-1000 is not a naked so please, do not compare it to the S3. Third, " the speed is starting to show its age"? Are u kidding me? Please, stick to your chopper and harleys buddy!!!!! >(

A Z1000 makes about 138 at the crank and 123 at the rear wheel. Makes over 80 ft lbs at the crank and runs in the lower 10's in the 1/4. A ZX6R makes 128 at the crank which puts it at 112 or so at the rear wheel. Different kind of power. The 1000 will loft the front wheel in the 1st 3 gears without the clutch. Better for the street. On the track where you need to be in the top part of the powerband then the 600 comes into its element.
