I love these guys, they're hilarious! And their skill and grace is just amazing. In many respects they're the best.

I notice they dance en pointe. This isn't usual for male dancers, right? Is it because they're heavier?

@Paraiah male dancers were the first to go en pointe actually...for some reason the practice has gone out of tyle, but some company's have male dancers do pointework because it helps us understand(in terms of partnerwork) what to do and how to do it.

And also with out men bellerinas we wouldnt have many of our bellet favourite shows.

I went to rehearsal, performance & after perf. talk in Manchester. They were only here for 2 nights & were so good & so hilarious that I had to go to both nights.

The rehearsal was fascinating. You wouldn't have thought that one of the dancers could dance and, if he could, he'd make such a lousy job that it would be diabolical. Not at all! He turned out to be one of their very best dancers! He was absolutely marvellous. It was 2 of the funniest eves. I've ever spent. Come back soon, Trocks.
