I lived there too in the late 80's. Yeah, it's weird people just standing there like "WTF r u doing?" but it's a way of sharing grief with others. The family understands and accepts this. They've lived most their lives in the public eye. Must be weird for the cops tho.
i was there, i didnt go to see celebrities, its LA.... you see celebrities everywhere. i went to pay tribute.. get some closure. the people there were really devastated

I once lived there & you're correct. I did used to see the celebs everywhere....
But standing in front of the very home where the family is attempting to overcome loss only adds to their stress.
People milling about in front have no business being there. They are an intrusion upon the innocent family.

Its really amazing to me that those people don't feel stupid..... just standing around like that.
Maybe they're gonna see some big 'star.' Like Jesse (never had a job) Jackson ? ... the fake preacher?
