  • This is a cool video, but seeing so many artists use this song in their videos is getting a bit nagging...

  • @KaiBailey haha, the artist didn't use the song, I did. just the dude that filmed it. The artist is much cooler than that.

  • Oh my! I bought one dragon for my parents this summer while visiting Nikko. Although there were few workshops like that, I think it was in exact same shop. For me, it was incredible to watch master at work! Just... awesome! (Nikko itself is beautiful too!)

  • HAHA, man, whenever I paint, I can never make a streak longer than 3 inches because my paint runs out so fast...

  • I don't watch people create things anymore, because it only makes me feel worthless and incompetent.

But this man is truly gifted.

  • talk about being one with your instrument this is freaking awesome 'looks at own hands in disgust'

  • WOW. just... WOW. Had to add this to my favorites. Definitely a favorite. Excellent command of the brush.

  • woah! that was amazing!

especially when you just used that big brush to make that scaly skin! it was awesome! x

  • taht tail effect was the best part of the whole video imo, but thanks for the upload. that was definitely worth 4 minutes of my time =D

  • wow... i want that... i want it so bad.. xD Looks truly amazing.. especially the result of the big brush.. applying the exact right pressure with it to get the tail must be incredibly hard..

  • Wow, that's amazing. According to his site that's a technique that's been passed down for 4 generations! And what a technique. But I'm pretty sure it's the brushes ad the ink that he uses that allows such a technique to work.

I would love to learn such a technique, but I'm just privileged I get to see it! Thank you for sharing this, and providing the like to his website.

  • haha his hand matched the music beat for a bit

  • what kind of ink and brushes does he use?

  • a hake (Ha-Kay) and some small watercolor type brushes, and a giant fude (foo-day).

  • i don't know what to say.. so amazing..
