  • Comment removed

  • Please check out my channel on the real life process of olive oil extraction thank you and nice vid

  • fuckin piece of shit italian, driving and talking on phone...

  • @alafortinfoni really?! yaaa... with all those cross walks, lights, stop signs, and traffic - he better be careful LOL!

  • LOL 1:34 LIKE A bAWSS

  • It would be better if you have a video from Greece. Its like making a video of cigars and include mexico instead of Cuba

  • wow very interesting! the quality seems very high but the best olive oil is made in the toscana region of italy.

  • @xXinXtheXasylumXx It is "Spring" from Antonio Vivaldi's Four Seasons.

  • The Greek olive oil is in accordance with the laboratory studies, the best in the world.

It is telling that more than 70 - 80% of Greek olive oil belongs to the "virgin", the best quality product category.

Predominates also in color, aroma and flavor than the corresponding products of other Mediterranean countries.

  • What is the song in the background called?

  • ARE THESE CAME FROM Vigiana!!!!!!!

  • They should compost the crushed olives and seeds for their trees! :)

  • @amazingdany I think they do just that. At least I have seen it done in other places.

  • Niiiice!

  • wow those look like illegal immigrants. jackass

  • @RealTalkification what? i think they're italians in italy.....

  • best part of the video is the dude driving the tractor yelling at someone with the clasical music over it. heh

  • Can climate can olives grow in?

  • je trouve votre vergers a bonne prod j.espere ecolo

  • how do they seperate the leaves from the olives? and some olives had little peice of twig on it...

  • So this is why my oil tastes like twigs and leaves.

  • kind of a misleading title.

  • Gods favorite juice = D

  • Spain is the largest prducer of olive oil and Greece is the largest producer of extra virgin olive oil.

  • @astalavisitor

And Italy certainly produces the best extra virgin oil in the world :)

  • @JusPrimaeNoctis2 No actualy Greece has the best one and produces the largest percentage of it.

45% of Italian oil produced compared to 80% of Greek produced is Xtra virgin.

  • @astalavisitor

I'm sorry to disappoint you, but the best extra virgin oil is universally considered the one from Tuscany, Italy.

Not in terms of quantity but "quality".

  • @JusPrimaeNoctis2 I am sorry to dissapoint you,but your argument is based on quantities of consumption. Italian and Spanish are the best marketed and most known, thus most accepted by the general public, but that alone doesnt make them the best.

  • People who actually care about what they make.... poor america you gave up to china *sigh*

  • Haha! How Angry does he look at 1:33. Someones getting a bollocking.

  • is there such a thing as De-Virginized Olive Oil ?

or is that just called Rape Seed Oil ???

  • The best oil for frying. supports a higher temperature than other oils without producing toxins. In Spain it is used including for frying. It is more expensive than sunflower. Spain is by far the largest producer of olive oil of the world. Especially in the province of Jaén. The excesses of production of olive oil are exported to Italy and then sells it from Italy to USA normaly (more expensive of course). USA could plant olive trees on California and reduce the cost of oil. Simply the best oil

  • don't they wash the olives before pressing? Could have bird poop on them.

  • @BoyAthena The olives are normally washed and they were washed in the video.

  • I need to know how to hand process the olives, since I have trees where I live, but not the fancy equipment. Anyone know where to find the old-fashoned way?

  • So that's how you pick olives, obviously not one by one

  • Very nice. Is there a home- size machine to make your own olive oil?

  • raking a olives is hard work...

  • Olives are nasty as all hell. At least the pickled green ones. I mean, shit, it's litterally foul. I would rather eat a piece of bark, or raw wet moss. The taste of olive deeply discusts me.

  • @ArtypNk --- Then why watch a video about them????

  • @BlackDogSociety

I tasted an olive for the first time, and wanted to make sure they all do taste like that. I thought maybe whoever made the ones I ate mixed the pickling solution with bleech.

  • @ArtypNk --- LOL I guess it's an acquired taste. I don't use olive oil at all, I just wanted to know how it's extracted. I plan on using this method to extract oil from acorns...

  • @BlackDogSociety

How would you use acorn oil? Is it even edible?

  • @ArtypNk --- Yes acorns are edible once you remove the tannins. Native people processed acorns and used the flour or meal for many years for food. Look up how to make acorn flour for more details. I plan on conducting experiments using acorn oil for fuel but it could be used for cooking too. I just don't know what it will taste like yet...

  • @BlackDogSociety

I see. The taste will probably be bitter, like the strong alcohol drinks made in wooden barrels.

  • Spanish olive oil is better than Italian... Italians just have good marketing... They are like McDonalds...

  • That is YOUR oil??!!! You must be rich, and want to gain more buyers from this video right

  • k I'm sorry but this video leaves out so much of the process it's ridiculous

  • were can i get this olive oil to buy on line.

  • Thanks for the narration bastardsss!!!

  • Thanks for this video, always wondered how olive oil is made :D

  • Mmmm...extra virginy...

  • I wonder what the EU's standard is for crushed leaves and twigs.

  • Why didn't they blow away the leaves & other non-olive matter? They crushed the leaves & sticks along with the olives!

  • παρθένο ελαιόλαδο απο την ελλαδα

    τιμη 2.5

    0.1 % οξέα

  • What is the name for the kind of grinding used for the olives?

  • What's the name of this classical song?

  • @guitarriff1988 Vivaldi's The Four Seasons, Spring, 1st movement.

  • very nice , congrulations and thank you for share ...

  • All of those olives are MINE!!

  • Why does everyone always have to use this music for everything? Stop!

  • @o0xst shut up you dumb tit. you don't get enough bubblegum, c-rap and sedimentary rock garbage all damned day? Viva Vivaldi!

  • 1:33 pissed off..lol

  • Bigfood is at .23!!!!!!!

    He lives!!!!!!!!!!

  • How many olives does it take to make 500ml of olive oil?

  • my bueno el casero chauu

  • Madonna, che lavoro!

  • ok, but how is the water separated from the oil?

  • The water and the oil are separated by a machine that is called "centrifuge"

Since they do not have the same weight they will separate...

  • @FPensato density

  • @millertyme7705 I believe there is never any water in troduced it is just the pressing of the raw olives the liquid that comes out is the oil

  • Is microscope included to find that portion of food on a plate?

  • Its all about Quality not Quantity

  • Most Americans would go for quantity over quality. It's kinda sad.

  • @DUDENOFF

    hahah, lol

  • at 1:35 , he's like "You rat fucking bastard, we was like family and this is how you show your loyalty??!!!!!!!!, YOU'RE DEAD, U HEAR YOU'RE GETTING WHACKED U SON OF A BITCH!!!!!!!!!"

  • @lisekpl1 lol

  • @lisekpl1 ROFLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL hes on the damn phone yelling. ahahahahaha i died.lol
