hans--great site u have here----10 stars for you my friend--tommy collins was great when i was a kid--thanks so much for sharing--yt john--plz stop by soetime john
This Video touches me. Seems like many of you who commented knew Tommy. I knew him too when I was 12 years old in 1963. To us he was Brother Tommy. He was our minister. He baptized myself and brother and sister in our small church in Lincoln, California. My late Grandmother, Floyce--loved him dearly. We all did. Wanda--by chance if you ever read this, know that he and you and Ronnie left a mark that I will always cherish and remember.
It's like being there! Next he'll pull out an old reel to reel tape recorder so you can listen to some songs he wrote for Merle. How did Tommy and his family end up in Ocala, Florida where I met him? I wish somebody could help me with that part of the story. I was headed to California. Tommy sent me to see Buck.
Wow, awesome video even though it breaks my heart to think a song writing giant like this had to hock his amp. I gues Nashville has never been good to the folks that make the machine all the money. Bastards.
Leonard and my father where friends in Louisville,ky.They wrote and played music together. He gave my dad the orginal studio copy of Leonard,by Merle Haggard we still have it.Excellent musican and songwriter
roligt att det var från hans hem:-)lätt! att like him . funny to see this. this lp are so very good hans häggström as i did get from you in some before years
I think you may mean Bernard Circle. It was at the time in his life that he was just about to quit drinking alcohol. (1982) Take care Hans...Tommy Jr.

My dads band would back Tommy up when he was at the end of his career. He used to come to our house and loved my mommas fried chicken. RIP Leonard!

This is awesome! I knew Tommy. Played bass in a band with him, briefly. 1972. Used to go to his house to practice. He had a gold one on the wall.
