in those albums he experiments a lot with different styles and instruments.

even though it was very sad what the drugs did to him he became more open to different styles and i believe thats what makes him such a great guitar player and person.

Yeah before the CD even came out. Just because its a similar tempo and starts with bass doesn't mean they're even close to the same. Different chords and intervals, and a less lengthy phrase as the verse part, they are quite different from eachother.

Rehearsal demo could definitely mean that Anthony was just singing along so the other members would know their cues. When singers do that, they usually try to save their voice and don't really put in effort. He obviously isn't miked as high as them.

@ tuesday night in berlin, i understand your point here. and i am not here to tell anthony is the greatest vocalist.. but as u can read in his biography ( fantastic book by the way for every rchp fan... must have ) he was not a singer,, but tried to find his role in making the music thas rocks his world... his rapping is great, he dances and entertaines like a fenomenon.. and his vocals have inproved tremendously since he got clean ( dec 2000) he can now sing live like on the record...

What he means is you can't be sure. I think it's anthony. For the chorus on Dosed, John sings the main part whilst anthony sings very very quietly and doesn't sing much. In the final version of This is the Place they both sing loud for the chorus but here I think it's AK.

probably not. I think this was probably just a loose recording, and that the final track that appears on the album was recorded separately (at least for the vocals). I'd lose some respect for them if you're theory is correct, so I'm hoping it's not. Anthony's voice doesn't sound this bad live, either.

No way, as we all know, the chili's are amazing live... This is just a half assed vocal recording to help Kiedis change the flow and lyrics if needed.

The guitar, base, drums and even backup vocals are the final as that's the first step before you finalize the song.
