So long time I have been looking for this opening video. The discord between the song and captions causes me saudade to the childhood. Muito obrigado por upload do video! アップロードありがとうございます。長い間このOPを探してました。歌詞とテロップの間のズレがいいんですよ。
I understand that its pretty low for us to enjoy Anime without having to pay for it. But Youtube takes steps to prevent full series from being uploaded here. A lot of us get introduced to Anime we like on Youtube and then we go out and buy it.
One of my own guidelines is that I always pay to support both the people who create these fine animations and the people who translate it and localize it here in America.
It is based on a novel written by Alexandere Dumas,"The Count of Monte Cristo". You, Westerners have very excellent art, literature, music, etc.
But, superior Anime is made by only Japanese people. Why?
Pixar, they have really good technology. But, their consumers are only children? Why do they make "The Count of Monte Cristo"?
I love Anime. So I pay for supporting Anime indsutry with joy. I spended much money, about 2 million yen (= 20 thousand US dollars) in last year for it.
Ah, OK, I see your point now. See, when I read your first comment, it sounded like you were saying Japan had the best animation period and wondered why Americans were interested in it, which struck me as ethnocentric. Now I see that you think the opposite and are wondering why we only do kid's movies with our animation. My apologies.
I wonder the same thing myself. In my opinion, animation doesn't have to just be for children or for comedy. But most people in this country think otherwise.
I agree entirely. But with all the inspiration that Japan has given my generation in particular, I think that adults in this country will come to adopt animation as an acceptable outlet for entertainment media and produce serious shows instead of just kid stuff. At least, that's what I hope.

I wonder why foreigners know about Japanese animations. And they enjoy them in You Tube without paying money for making.
If you like animations like "Japanimation",in your conutry, you must make films with paying for making.
Why only japanese people makes interesting celluloid animations, you only fun?

Come on, don't be so ethnocentric. You have an interesting culture and your cartoons are fun to watch. Isn't that enough?
JukeboxHero12345 3 years ago
That's right.
But, nobody can make an animated cartoon if there is not an income. It is a fact, too.
I want you to know that there are people paying money to offer animation to you.
Money is never ethnocentric.

The consumers buy the DVD of the Anime.
So, the producers can make works.
It is the business model of the anime industry.
The discs are very expensive.
They will be about 6 ~ 10 thousand yen, or 700 ~ 1000 US dollars per a progrum.
That industry is based on what Japan's consumers pay.
I am glad you like Anime.
But, I want you ask what you can do for the animation of the world, not only you fun it without paying.

Thanks.
Mr.Osamu Tezuka was a founder of Anime. He was strongly influenced by the Disney's movies.
He didn't only consume them, but made a new thing, Anime.
I love Anime. You say, I'm ethnocentric. But I stand on the counter side of ethnocentrism.
My hope is, not only the Japanese makes Anime, but all nations of other states also do that. I just want to fun foreigners' Anime.
Do you know a very beautiful Anime,"Gankutsuou"?

I can permit that foreigners fun Anime without paying, even if the payer is only us(=paying people).
But I can't permit they don't create something new.
