  • I never heard of them till yesterday and I am already a fan!

  • if these three do another album, they should do "Be Thou my Vision"

  • This is SO Beautifully moving.

  • I would be glad to see them in cassocks.

  • I agree. God Bless! Ted

  • Rejoice!

  • I can feel the christmas spirit in May ^^

  • This makes me cry, I feel in it so much in my heart .God isgreat

  • Amen!

  • " rendons a césar ce qui est a césar et a dieu ce qui est a dieu " , le chant est l'âme de l'homme qui chante la beauté de l'amour

  • Rhydian did a brilliant version on x-factor and also Katherine Jenkins did a lovely version!

  • The only thing that spoilt it was the fact that they are fenians!! I jest ,i am from a mixed family,i found that truly awe inspiring and really quite beautiful!

  • this is the most fantastic thing i've heard. flawless.

  • Armagh the seat of St. Patrick, follower of the one true Church of Jesus Christ looks well!

  • WOW.

You are judging this song based on religion!

If you would like to know something, you don't need to proclaim religion to worship God.

And second of all, even though this is a religious song, its a classic to perform, so he is not an anti-catholic fagot.

  • Très beau mais ce chant n'est pas "holy night" mais "minuit chrétiens".

    Merci.

  • Yes, the song was originally written in French, but it has been translated into other languages.

Here the priests sing the English version: "o holy night".

N'y a-t-il pas des Français qui chantent " ô douce nuit" au lieu de "Stille Nacht"?

  • This is my favorite Christmas song and I can't find a better version anywhere. Each of these men alone sing wonderfully. Together they are the best.

  • The Roman Catholic Church is the True Church. All other religions are heretical. St Peter was the first Pope. Our Lord said" Upon this rock I will build my Church".That church is the Roman Catholic Church.

  • You know, this isn't about religion (I speak as a Catholic). It's about the beautiful music.

Good for these guys! Flying in the face of popular music.

  • you're an idiot

Pray you have a very Healthy and Happy New Year, with God's Profuse Blessings!!

  • brilhante,

    formidável...

  • Bravo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wonderful.

  • Maybe this will get more views now that it has been shown on the national news. O Holy Night is my favorite Christmas. The musicality of it just sweeps me off my feet.

  • This is the most incredibly beautiful performance of O Holy Night. I can't watch it without tears falling.

  • See how the devil works. He takes something beautifu as God's holy priest singing this glorious song and has an unstable sick pervert type comments like the one below. The devil will always mock what is good. he cannot stand Christmas; he cannot stand our God. We must always pray for our priests. God Bless our priests. God Bless our Church. Praise Jesus!

  • whew! for a moment i thought you were talking about my comments! thank God my humble remarkds are above and not below yours! I also agree with you that sick perverted types sould be banished and thrown to the beasts in the colloseum! And I once again i wish a merry, merry christmas to you all, especially all of your children! may santa claus be very generous to you all!

  • Wow. They sound awesome. God Bless our priests.

    Ted

  • Only 2,396 views? I love how all the bad videos on this site have tons of views, but Godfearing priests, who sing beautifully BTW, have so few... sad.

  • sweet!

  • Their native language is in fact Irish;they are from Ireland.Latin was used by the catholic church throughout the world in the mass and other ceremonies but now the vernacular is used;in Ireland, Irish and English and to a lesser extent Latin is still used.

Anaclet,Latin is not a "native" language.

  • wot do you mean, speranza68? what language did the romans speak at the time of their empire? what's the native language of ceasar, ciceron, hadrian?

  • I'm sure that their mother tongue is English - the English spoken in their part of Ireland.

English is the mother tongue of all but about 25,000 people in Ireland.

The priests, like many people who live in Ireland, learnt Irish in school, just as they learnt Latin in school.

  • Actually, the Bible was translated from Aramaic, Greek and Hebrew. Latin didn't come around for a few centuries.

  • beautiful!

  • go on the irish, i live in the usa, but born and raised in ireland, i am so proud to be irish

  • I visted Ireland 4 years ago. It is a beautiful country. I wanted to see Tralee, County Kerry. My maternal great grandparents came from there.

  • love it

  • beautiful performance. beautiful song. beautiful accent. :)

  • Merry Christmas to you all! The Priests are wonderful, no doubt about that. Yet i prefer when they sing in Latin, their native language. I'm not terribly happy with their foreign accents when trying to sing in English.

  • Their native language is actually English. The Priests are from Ireland.

  • A well meant comment but nobody's mother tongue is Latin these days.

  • I could swear to God all Priests' navite language was Latin, actually the language of God. Too bad it doesn't seem to be so. I must say however that when The Priests sing in Latin their pronunciation is flawless. I do suggest they keep singing in Latin. And Merry Christmas to you all!

  • The language of God is love, not necessarily Latin. Merry Christmas to you too.

  • Well said tiffelau168. I agree with you that God is polyglot and He can speak many many langauges. I also believe God's native language is Latin and hence it is the language of the Roman Catholic Church. It is well known that Latin is widely spoken in the streets of the Vatican and that you can find books and magazines written in God's language everywhere (id est Latin) in that beautiful country.

  • SOrry, just because Roman Catholic Church's language is Latin in no way proves/disproves that Latin is God's native language. You do know that God existed WAYYYY before Latin EVER existed right? Is God's native residence in the Vatican, hence the main OFFICE of the Catholic church there? Let's not bind God to human standards. God created languages for us, not for Himself. Just my 2 cents. Don't mean to offend anyone. Merry Christmas.

  • I took Latin in 9th grade (Catholic school). I opened the book and and written inside was "Latin is a dead language - dead as it can be. First it killed the Romans - and now it's killing me" ;-)

  • Good heavens!! You'd rather listen to a language u dont understand when there's an English version. Their music isnt just abt d sound, there's a message behind it too. WEll except you r part of d 0.1% dat speak & understand Latin flently; NO qualms

As 4 d Latin being the native language of God & Priests, i'll take dat as a JOKE, cuz i don't even knw where to start if you meant that!

  • well my dear veranasti, all i can tell you is that my latin is way better than my english. and neither one of the two languages is my native language. and remember: not every one speaks english.

  • my favorite Christmas song....beautifully done, thank you!

    MERRY CHRISTMAS
