This movie stays with you. I remember seeing this years ago and somehow the underline story has never left my heart. How selfish was the mother in this? Hes just a boy. Cybernetic or not. A baby who is learning how to be in the world. She discards him like the daily trash.The flesh fair is a warning to us all of the possible atrocities we should avoid if these sentiant beings ever became self aware and reality.The responsibility we have to respect that lifeform, however un human it may be.

The film started out wonderful but as it progressed it seemed too drawn out and lost its objective; there seemed to be a lot of distractions and meaningless detours from the story.

The ending still brought tears to my eyes though & Haley is just ADORABLE. Only reason why I bothered to watch the movie all the way through.

Love this movie. After seeing it the first time, I ran to the dvdshop and bought the special edition with an interview with HJO. Meanwhile, I've seen the movie around 14 times or so.

I think he did a great and tough job acting as a robot in this movie. Even actors as Frances O'Connor and Sam Robards were distracted frequently by his amazing robot-acting.
