I have a problem when I go into the last step and go into revoked and do the reflash.exe at the end of the process it comes up with the failed to flash recovery image and it just reboots to original home screen. I've done it several times and it does the same can you help me... thanks.

@tomj74 The root wont work for the update. Its like jailbreaking an ipod, the unrevoked software will need to be updated. I'm not sure how long that might take either.

Thank you so much! I successfully rooted my incredible! For the wireless tethering if you use it does Verizon charge you or something?? And what other cool features does rooted incredible have? I know there's this thing that saves battery or something.

@tomj74 Just the basic. SkyRaider would have to be installed through rom manager on the market, or manually. Its not to hard, but you should make nandroid backups first.

@upstreammiami Well you would have to give your phone the OTA update manually if you haven't received it, or get froyos (leaked not ready) update for the 720p recording. Both must be installed on an unrooted phone. Froyo is still not available.
