I often don't wrestler with black bears, but I have a beautiful lion [English mastiff] to wrestle with. X3 He's absolutely gorgeous. I wish i had a Newfie- Chiefy sometimes doesn't really like to play. XD

they r rescue dogs mostly. they are one of the best swimming dogs out there. they love the water also eat alot.

no they dont eat alot, they eat a little more than an averae sized dog, they only eat alot when they are growing, Just like every other kind of dog. . . .

Besides the fun roughousing is he what you would call affectionate. Does he lay by you on the couch, lick your face off whenyou get home (newf drool huh).

Absolutely...voted by animal planet as the best dog for small children believe it or not...gentle powerful giant and they are like guardian angels to us humans...read the book "In the Company of Newfies" to learn what they are really all about.

he doesnt really drool that much, but hes a huge cuddler, i use him as a pillow when we watch tv together

I have a newf and am about to get another...awesome to wrestle with lol...they are gentle but still can hurt you accidently when rough housing....ive caught a few heads to the chin and seen stars lol...its a good thing they are not agressive!
