See, I knew I was looking for something, but when you're looking for something, you're immediately using the objects you know are there; gems, goalposts, enemies etc. Since the manual tells you about the Evert Points, it's not at all indicated in-game, thus, I didn't expect any kind of colour changing background, or specific points of eversion, thus pressing it everywhere.

Didn't experience any kind of Sony activity until a few years back. And, I still don't get what you mean by a 'casual'. I've sat and beaten games like Mega Man, Ninja Gaiden, Bubble Bobble, stuff like that. Sure, I may prefer my RPGs to platformers and FPS games, but I can still make it in that world when I try.

Gawd knows it took me long enough to find the first everse portal. Seems the change between -1 and -2 is the most subtle of all the seven.

You can only evert at certain spots, and while it can be tricky discerning where these spots are at times, the only real indicator is that the screen will slightly flicker to the darker world, and some music change can be heard. Here is where you should evert.
