Oct 1 does not = martial law. It's only 1 brigade (1500 - 4000 personnel). That's barely enough to control a medium-sized city. All this fear mongering about martial law happening on Oct 1 is ridiculous.

It is, however, a sign of times to come. They are definitely stepping things up incrementally towards possible complete martial law.

No, not forgotten. There are also thousands of private military personnel (ie Blackwater, KBR, etc) and the regular police forces. Still not enough to implement complete martial law. There's over 300 million people in the U.S.

My wife lived through martial law and foreign occupation when she was growing up. Trust me, when martial law hits it will not be a question. Let's hold off on the fear mongering and speculation. There's only 2 days left. We'll see.
