  • rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :)

  • VGO masters of Greek electronica!! I was there!!

  • Chris Hülsbeck... GERMANY FTW!!!!!!!!!

  • Music from the C64 was so basic that there are numerous ways to interpret them with instruments. It is great to see how musicians ranging from metal to (er, what would you call this exactly?) have a soft spot for C64 music.

I am usually into rock and metal, but if a rendition of C64 music is true to the original, I can enjoy it no matter what.

People who call us C64 music lovers nerds are probably in their teens now and never knew C64 games. I know my wife doesn't get it either.

  • @Co19801003: You may be right, but ofcourse, this isn't based on C64 music.

  • @ArumesYT You are absolutely right :-) I just mentioned the C64 since I think the A500 had such vastly improved sound capabilities that loving C64 music is more extreme than loving A500 music. I strongly believe most of us 'old game music geeks' have an affection for systems from both these systems, so I thought I could get away with my previous reply without offending anyone ;-)

But now I will hush and let everyone enjoy the music :-)

  • Incredibile, Fantastic. I am an italian fan of Turrican.

  • mmmmm i just got the sudden urge to grab an old joy and snap it.

  • This is freaking awesome...this wouldeve been great for a Turrican Remake Intro Screen...

  • yeah a bunch of nerds...but i'm not afraid to admit i'd be hyped on these guys and be in the front row. this is a really nice rendition.

  • Why is it sad?

How you know there are no girls there?

My wife loves Hüelsbeck by the way, and sometimes goes around whistling "the great bath".

Game music is no less/more geeky than anything else. It is also becoming fine art :-)

  • 'it is also becoming fine art :-)'

it has been fine art since 20 years ago. This theme proves it ;)

  • a great song never dies :-)

  • I prefer the Turrican 2 theme, but let me keep the bit at 2:26 thanks

    Chris Huelsbeck rocks!

  • this sounds amazing!

does anybody got an idea where I can get this version of the track from? I already have the original theme, but this sounds a lot better imo ;)so: any ideas?

  • Google: VideoGame Orchestra, First Option, Music, Look Through List For "Turrican Theme".

    You'll See It Eventually.
