@awelshl "Go George!" hahahaha he's hilariously shit and every single answer was as if it was coming from a 5 year old, no economics, no arguement just irrelevant jibes at ed balls being "second choice", who cares, whats important is doing the right thing for the economy and it was ed balls that actually spoke sense...
All the tories should remember in 2007 the UK debt was only 37% and we had our best employment figures since 1975.The deficit was around 3.1% slighty up by about 1.1% because we were spending to invest with schools and hospitals. The tories said they would match labours spending. After the global banking crisis which effected nearly all major economies they now want to make the public sector pay with massive cuts far far too quickly. Infation is getting higher ,Osborne is a fool.
@philip02able Labour's 'best employment figures' were non-job, pen pushers who get a lovely pension paid for by you and me (assuming you're not on benefits). The cuts don't go far enough. Too many jobs in the public sector, it's a false economy.
@PadrethePio No sorry you are wrong for assuming i am on benefits, the majority of public sector workers are not on gold plated pensions. How did we spend our way out of debt after ww2 when we had a gdp of 180 far higher tha our debt now we built the NHS and homes for heroes?Osbornes policies are not working no one is spending, the economy has no growth and more people are out of work, and more people will be put out of work. The private sector is not picking up the slack.
Because it's not about America, when will Labour get it in their heads that they're in a British government and should stop trying to promote their own agenda world wide. Brown was a classic example and Blair not much better.
Also why do the Tories NEVER answer questions properly? It might as well not be called 'questions' because no proper 'answers' are ever given in response
@luisgarcia7 Your little friend would knife his own leader to get the top job. A vicious attack dog that misrepresents his opponents and only cares about himself. If he's someone you look up to, it makes you the CHUMP.
@luisgarcia7 Ed Balls may score "political points" but only through being insincere, false and deceitful. He denied that the deficit had to be reduced when his own party were supporting 90% of the Conservatives cuts. If you want to live in lala land, be my guest.
no suprises Osborne dodged all the questions, funny hearing him talk about second choices - the 'coaltion' or 'tory-led government' has NO Mandate to rule this country so he's no choice at all!
@Meila2SunsetBeach George Osborne talking about second choice is a bit rich. He was made Shadow Chancellor in 2005 because both William Hague and David Cameron turned the post down.

@jbarks10 I didn't say he's someone I look up to, I just think it's funny watching Osborne dither in response to his arguments!

I don't like George Osborne but I can't stand Ed Balls either, but when it comes to Ed Balls I will support any comments directed at Ed from Osborne.
