She's purring, not chirping. Her purr is just a different tone than most cats, but chirping is a completely different thing. She is a very pretty cats with beautiful markings though :)

My cat only does this once in a while when she's trying to get out a meow while purring, but does it with her mouth closed. It's so funny! LOL Sometimes I'll hold her before I put her away for the night, just until she does that, then I let her go; it's our little routine. Hehe! :)

Unsure. I got her as a stray when she was a tiny kitten.  Someone brought her into the vet, where I work, with a broken leg. The people who brought her in didn't want to take financial responsibility for her so the doctor was going to put her to sleep. Well, she was just way too cute and tiny for me to let that happen. So 3 surgeries and a pin in her leg later, she came home with me. That was 2 years ago.

Aww... sorry she had a broken leg. Glad you got her before she was put to sleep. My family's habit is taking in stray cats.

I hate it when cats are in pain. Recently a dog shook my cat so hard she had to go to an animal hospital for a couple days. But she's doing better now.
