ey breemystic, the producers wanted me to change my voice for different songs, it was a real opener for me at 17 seeing how the buiz really works. But I l;earned a lot
of recording LA could get. Check out my current single on iTunes "Favorite Scenes/
December" by Michael Bishop leave a comment. Also look for my new release
July 19 on iTunes and everywhere "Through the Past Darkly" I recorded with my
friend Blondie Chaplin whoI hear it it seems like yesterday. Thanks for listening.
@bishoop007 I have always loved this song. I first saw this movie when I saw 17 and I'm 45 now, and still a psychedelic music freak. Thanks for writing this! I usually put it in my 60s music party compilations.
@bishoop007 And thanks for clearing up the mystery of why the singers seem to have the same voice. :-) I know that live music is almost always dubbed in film, but they sound awfully similar just the same!

I am now proud of this work I did in 1967 at 17 years old. I'm harmonizing with myself
and it was hard back then, no digital tricks just trying to be perfect. Salley Lee Roy"
is a great R&B track, great horns. My brother and I did these arrangements from
Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil's piano demos. They had just had a no.1 with
"You've Lost that Loving Feeling". But I wanted to be with John Lennon at Apple in
London. Thats another story.
