Marth has the best chance of any FE character to be in Brawl (other then Ike because he is already confirmed). There is absolutely NO reason for Marth to NOT be in Brawl! He is the original FE lord after all, and he was a popular character in Melee. His sword is even the symbol of all of FE on the official Smash Bros. website!

[Or Sairin Katatsubasa No Tenshi if you prefer the Japanese translation] This version of One Winged Angel is obviously different from the FF7 game, not only because of the music, but because of the lyrics. Look up the Advent Children Soundtrack. It's a very good one. =]

Roy is in fact a stronger hit, but his speed lacks even for elite players, while marth moves as great speed, and has good reach, and decent damage. Tier-wise, Marth is second, after Shiek (not zelda/shiek, just shiek).

New tier listing is that Marth is fourth right behind Sheik who is third. Marth is still stronger at the tip than anywhere else of the sword from Roy. Marth is superior to Roy in everything: floaty, speed, damage. Just about everywhere you look, Marth is superior. The only thing Roy has an advantage over Marth is his b moves, but I think b moves suck.

Marth is faster, heavier, more powerful, has more grab range, has better grabbing because of chain throwing, floatier, making him harder to combo, and overall just better.

out of the two fire emblem characters i would advice roy since his power attacks are really good. i think marth is amazing as well, plus kinda hot ^^ he's an aquired charcater really, since he's swift and graceful you need to spend more time in training with him.

first off, if you cnanot even see all the advanced moves the player KEN is doing, dont badmouth him, he is the strongest marth user in the word, and probably the best all round player as well. most marth users who have seen him play or played him, dont use the colour red cause it is his colour. He is the only one Nintendo has paid to face off with the japanese players. no one else can say the same for anyone else
