  • too racist to be a president of the most multicultural society, with the freedom of religion.

  • This is fucked up...well, what do you expect he is a fucking Methodist.

  • You should really work on being more fluent when you talk instead of inserting distracting pauses. Although, when inserted correctly, it gives the illusion of thinking before speaking, when doing it too often it really makes it hard to listen. Kind of a stupid rant anyways on your part, so i'm sure it won't matter.

  • If the vast majority of people are Christains than why is society working so hard to take God's name out of schools, and why does Christianity get mocked while Christ's name is being slandered? I listened to about half of your speech and relized it was worth turning off. This is not to attack anyone. There are just some things you need to think about. I do not care about a, "agenda," necessarily. I care about right and wrong. There will be a day you will stand before your maker.

  • I think you are unprofessional and not well put together. It takes you a while to think out what you are trying to say. Why did you not write a speech for this ahead of time? Also, you are wiping your eyes. You also do not seem to know much about a true Christian. I support the person who is right based off God's standard. My brother is a homosexual and I love him, and he does not, "oppress me." I am not his judge. I am his sister who loves him.

  • Hold on r u saying that people who aren't christan has to BE A FUKIN CHRiStan!!!!

Psh n about the gay, you old fag, wait till Chris croker seas this >:-(

  • rick perry is a terrible person. i mean i'm a christian and i'm 100% okay with gays lesbians and everything else. i think it's perfectly fine that kids don't pray in school not everybody is christian... they could be atheists for all you know. they could be teaching your christian child how to worship the damn devil! rick perry... there is no religious fight from obama... and yes kids do openly celebrate christmas... $100 says that rick perry is on drugs.....

  • its like he just can't bring himself to talk on this subject Good call buddy!

  • according to this guy, if you're not white, not christian, and not straight, then you aren't an american.

  • lol at 1:14he says number two but holds up one finger.

  • your show is sorta boring and self absorbed. totally agree with what you're saying but...

  • We owe thanks to Democrats and especially Obama for the advancement of Gay Activists

Homosexuals make up less than 4% of the population .

"The rate of homosexual versus heterosexual child sexual abuse is staggering data of 150.2 boys abused per male homosexual offender finds no equal (yet) in heterosexual violations of 19.8 girls."

Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays, counters that federal crime data refute claims that homosexuals molest children at higher rates than heterosexuals.

  • "According to data from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), this claim is false,".

In terms of numbers of children abused per offender, homosexuals abuse with far greater frequency; and boys, research shows, are the much-preferred target.

Authorities say evidence examined disproves the assertion that child molestation is more prevalent among heterosexuals.

  • The risks associated with homosexual conduct are so drastic, in fact, that U.S. health regulations prohibit men who have sex with men (MSM) and women who have had sex with MSM, from even donating blood.

Consider that, according to the Food and Drug Administration, MSM, "have an HIV

  • prevalence 60 times higher than the general population, 800 times higher than first time blood donors and 8,000 times higher than repeat blood donors."

Adults and children who engage in homosexual conduct, especially males, are also susceptible, at an astronomical rate, to nearly all other forms of sexually transmitted disease (STD). For example, the Hepatitis B virus is about five to six times more prevalent among "gays," and Hepatitis C is twice as common.

  • But perhaps most shocking are today’s syphilis rates among homosexual men and adolescents. A recent study conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) found that although homosexuals comprise only a fraction of the population (one to two percent), they account for an epidemic 64 percent of all syphilis cases.

  • 100% correct

  • I love that Rick Perry hates on gays, yet doesn't understand that gays make up a lot of voters. There aren't just a few hundred GLBT. There are thousands! Millions. Hate on your opponents, not the people of the country you want to run!

  • Ron_Paul Money Bomb, December 16th!

  • oh, i LIKE you.

  • Rick Perry's little buddy's attack on the Mormon faith is so off base it's unbelievable. He doesn't even KNOW the religion at ALL.

And then he comes out with his 'golden ad.' Congrats Perry. You just screwed yourself.

  • You will NOT take away my Christmas. You think you are, but you're NOT. Got it?

  • There's such a a thing as us northern liberal Christians too...who think the republicans are off base.

  • I liked it until the end honestly... if you didn't joke as much I'd enjoy it more. Other wise, I agree 100%

  • The scary thing is that he's probably serious. (I doubt he's intelligent enough to deliberately pander to the ignorant.)

  • Honestly, I don't even think Perry believes the crap he is saying. He's desperate and pandering to the dumbed down and distracted.

  • I know this seems reaaaaallllly off topic but you sound like that guy on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia the crazy haired one, I can't think of his name but he is the funniest character, also Rick Perry is evil.

  • BTW - Christmas is a pagan holiday celebrating the birth of Tammuz, Son of the Sun God which was co-opted by Constantine in the 4th century when he haphazardly baptized mass amounts of pagans and forced them into Christianity... As a Christian I find Christmas to be rather disgusting... the information is out there, perhaps if YOU focused on facts rather than your own emotions you could have educated someone instead of just looking like another emotional buffoon spouting hate.

  • Perhaps if you had grown up in an area that was 90% NON-Christian you would understand how someone would be reluctant to admit that they were Christian. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that their own personal experience might not be the norm for all people. Perhaps if you brought some logic into your outburst it would have a solid foundation. As it is you are simply the mirror image of Rick Perry - meaning you are BOTH "idiots" that base your conclusions on emotion rather than logic.

  • @paleodisciple Yes, but (1) in the US, there is no such area - ALL areas of the US are predominantly Christian. And (2) Perry has lived in UBER Christian areas.

That aside, what Perry is proposing is a war on religion - not ending one. By instituting the Mormon religion as "state sponsored" he's going to start a war on all other religions, and on atheists and agnostics.

Besides, what most dont realize is the Bible says to pray to yourself, quietly and privately.

  • @RobertMfromLI

Obviously you're not from Southern California... or Northern California, or New York, Or the Pacific Northwest or... believe me Robert, there are PLENTY of areas in the US that are not predominantly Christian and where discussing Christian beliefs could quite easily end up in someone instigating violence... that said, I still think BOTH this guy AND Rick Perry are morons because BOTH of them are arguing from an emotional rather than a rational / logical position.

  • Mean i was really shocked when i heared that voice. Maybe you shouldn't be in broadcasting with such an unpleasant voice

  • If you cut out all the uncomfortably long pauses in this guy's video then it'd be like thirty seconds long.

  • great commentary, great sense of humor! i'm christian & i'm not ashamed to be christian. i have friends who aren't christians & i have friends who are glbtq and i love and accept them. i thank God for the brave men & women who sacrifice to serve in the military. we don't hide to celebrate Christmas at my house. my kids have prayed at school themselves, like when there was an earthquake. no prayer police came to arrest them. political ads (& politicians) need to stop the silliness and get real!

  • i have never heard of a closet christian, they think that atheists are taking over, guess what? there are closet atheists, and closet homosexuals, and closet....well, closet everything you just said is taking over america....

    Prick Perry For the lose....

  • This is true, I should be able to go to school and celebrate Christmas... But no, we have to accommodate everyone else that has moved over here! This is America, we speak English and are mostly Christians, don't like it then go back to your own dang country!!!

  • The awkward moment when the music in Rick Perry's anti-gay ad is by gay American composer Aaron Copland, who by the way was a communist.

  • @HolyReaperX01 Was more influenced by Copland than actually written by him. Americana is a trope of political ad campaigns, being a not only fairly accessible but distinctive American "sound." Norman Lebrecht has an article on this ad in which the composer, having done work for many campaign ads in the past, mentions this sort of phenomenon.

  • @HolyReaperX01 All while he's wearing the jacket from Brokeback Mountain. Someone on his team sabotaged him nicely. Not that he needed much help to look like an idiot, but it was a nice touch... sorta the icing on the cake.

  • @HolyReaperX01 shameless, Sarah Palin quoted David Byrne in a speech

  • Didn't Newt Gingrich cheat on his cancer stricken wife? He won't be faithful to America LMAO #Sarcmark

  • All this statements are valid. These arguments can only appeal to the right wing base, not

moderates, or progressives. Keep up the good work GOP and you will be losing like

    Goldwater in '64. (Big time)

  • "Real" American values? What is that? The only value I see worshiped in the US is greed.

  • Growing up, I was ashamed to admit I was Christian, but not because I was worried what people would think about me. I was ashamed because, deep down, I knew how retarded my evangelical upbringing was, and how hurtful it was to others. I could say, "I'm a Christian," and everyone would smile at me and compliment me, but inside I wilted a little.

  • Don't get snarky...

  • dumbass fecker

  • I'm Rick Perry and I hate gay people.

  • Perry is an idiot, but so is this guy.

  • I love how he used gay composer Aaron Coplands music in the background of his ad and is wearing a jacket very simular to that which Heath Ledger wore in Brokeback Mountain! Dumbass!

  • lol, the founding father's were deist and against christianity. (Deism is the belief in a "master clockmaker" like, god started everything, but then he let the ball roll as he stood back. They believed that the universe is controlled by forces of nature and universal "laws" (gravity and such). So stupid.

  • awesome video, i agree completely with you

  • I love how the like/dislike ratio on your video is almost the exact opposite of that of Rick Perry's video!

  • Religion of any kind doesn't belong in the White House....Religious views are the #1 reason why we are in so many damn wars. The belief in God is not the problem, but rather the religious misconceptions of people are.

As it says in the Bible... 1 John 4:7-8 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

Everything else is dead religious garbage.

  • @DavesFavVideos You don't need to believe in God to love one another. I'm an atheist and a republican. I respect your belief in God, but I deny him and don't need him to live my life morally correct. I am for gay marriage and for gays serving openly and even for abortion, but when it comes to fiscal responsibility, republicans win. We need for fix the economy before we can work on moral issues. For true separation of church and state we need an atheist president.

  • @EddieIsHere22 You should go look at the Republican record for fiscal responsibility. They do not "win". Mind you, I don't like either side or really anything about the culture we live in, but republicans are not fiscally responsible, contrary to their words.

  • @DavesFavVideos You are right! and you can also add greed to this as well. Greed can be for finacial reasons or for power. I am a christian and I can't stand when people bring religion into matters that don't apply. Rick Perry needs to remember that not everyone is going to have the same beliefs as his. There are other ways to apply his beliefs, but know when to do it and do it with respect and consideration of others.

  • @DavesFavVideos

Scumbag bigot: Claims his book is right, but only uses the parts he likes.

  • @DavesFavVideos God is Love? Tell that to the hundreds of thousands of innocent children in the bible God had killed in OT. Tell that to the young virgin women saved as spoils of war for the Israelite army to keep for themselves after killing everyone else.

Is that the kind of love God is? I say, no thanks.

  • @ninjamojo711 i'm not a christian but even i can field this one: you're confusing the two religions. a "christian" follows the teachings of jesus christ - a sect properly called "pauline judaism". the three religions of Abraham - Islam, Judaism, and Catholicism - stem from the OT. that's why i lmao watching them all go at each other - it's like christmas dinner at my family's house.

  • @threenorns3 Which question or comment were you referring to?

I don't think I'm confusing anything. Non-Catholic Christians still use the OT and quote it regularly and uses it's teachings. All Christianity stems from the OT first. Catholics also following the NT teachings of Paul, so the only thing I'm confused about is your "fielding of this one."

  • @threenorns3 Re-read the Bible... the NT is almost as bad, including (check Mark) a section that says Jesus has not and will not absolve us of our duties as defined in the OT. We still have those "obligations" and "responsibilities" to be totally depraved, sick bastards - per the NT pointing out we still must honor and follow the dictates of the OT.

  • @DavesFavVideos No...even that is dead religious garbage, because God doesn't exist.

  • Perry in this add wears an almost exact same jacket as one of the guys in broke back mountain

  • @TheOkham To be fair, that's the same kind of jacket that a lot of guys who work with their hands do outdoors. I've seen a ton of them over the years.

  • P.S. Christmas is celebrated really openly in California, by both liberals and conservatives. I had no idea folks had to celebrate Christmas secretly in Texas, for fear of persecution. That ain't right.

  • Ha ha ha, so awesome. The point about the Republicans not having a real plan to help America but simply a series of "tribal constructs" is so spot on-- as is the fact that Rick Perry's ad focuses on imaginary, straw-men villains.

  • Could it be said that this guy is a fruitcake?

  • ron paul 2012

  • Good thing Ron Paul isn't a fucking nuts, gay hating asstard. Ron Paul 2012.

  • Rick perry can suck my 8 inch dick !

  • Perry is an asshole and should not be president. But Obama should not either. The best candidate for president is Gary Johnson.

  • There was a third quality, but you forgot it. Oops.

  • Your party leader today said that extending unemployement benefits would be a job creation bill, and Republicans are off the rail? How about politicians. If you want to sound non-bias, less-Govt or anti-partisan you need not say anything except Ron Paul/2012. Don't be a liberal sheep

  • His point was do away with the christmas holiday break and let the kids celebrate IN school instead. Because it makes no sense any other way because KIDS ARE OUT OF SCHOOL DURING CHRISTMAS in most areas here in the US. Goodness. Love how gays are some secondary class citizens. He's lost grasp with reality. Those 2 things are not even comparable. Like Christianity is the ONLY religion in the world. Someone should break it to this guy that it's not. Nor was the first.

  • @TheMissLeo The Christian Church even ripped off the pagan winter solstice celebration of the Roman Saturnalia. Most Christians are completely clueless and think everything in the universe revolves around their ideology. The Myth of the Christ-like character even predates Christianity by centuries.

Also, Christians never seem to read Jeremiah 10: 2-4 from the pulpit on Christmas morning.

  • @ninjamojo711 LOL still laughing at what you call the "Myth of the Christ-like character." Sounds like you were given a plate of horse shit and swallowed it whole

  • @cteeput get educated.

  • @ninjamojo711 oh trust me, I am educated kiddo. I was merely asking for an explanation, because isn't that the at the heart of a proper education anyway? Questioning things that seem utterly inane?

  • @cteeput Really? Telling me I swallowed of plate of horse shit is your way of asking for an explanation? I stand by my first comment: get educated.

I'll give you just a few:

Zoroaster was born of a virgin and immaculate conception.

Horus, born of a virgin. Only begotten son of the God Osiris.

Attis was born on December 25 of the Virgin Nana. Considered the saviour.

Dionysus was born of a virgin on December 25 and, the Holy Child. Krishna, Buddha, all have similar story lines to Jesus.

  • @ninjamojo711 apparently your education consists of baseless and unfounded information. December 25th is a day on the gregorian calendar, created by the catholic church. How could there be a relation? anyway, I'm not a proponent of religion, I just hate ignorant asses like you who warp facts to fit a certain worldview--whether they are theists or atheists.

  • @cteeput December 25 still existed before the Gregorian calendar was invented in the 1500's. The pre-existing Julian calendar Julian established December 25 as the date of the winter solstice. There's a big clue for you there, The Winter Solstice!

    Read a book, dude.

  • @ninjamojo711 wrong on all accounts. How the hell do you come off thinking that ancient egyptians, hindus, greeks, etc. all used the same calendar? And the winter solstice is on the 22nd of December. Furthermore, why, just because Jesus was supposedly born on the same date as other virgin-born children, does this make Christianity any less viable? Once again, i am no Christian, it's just people like you who make us atheists look like ignorant fucks through sub-par reasoning

  • @cteeput First of all, I said the winter Solstice was big clue....you obviously missed it. I'm not surprised.

The solstice has to do with earth's maximum axial tilt to the sun. This is recognized by all ancients. Read a book! A few thousand years ago, the winter solstice was closer to Dec. 25, now it's closer to Dec.22, because Gregorian calendar change that.

And yes, because pre-existing myths use the same symbolism and allegory, it discredits Christianity.

    Quit pretending.

  • @ninjamojo711 Pretending? You're the pretender. You're logic is untenable while at the same time you claim a pseudo-divinity of supernatural reasoning capacities. Whence do you claim this right of omniscience? Surely, not from a god? The same scornful god who casts upon his children the plights that we so unwillingly suffer. The solstice as you speak of it, is nothing but lies. You are claiming it to be god! you are no better than the wretched christians--MAY THEY BURN!!!

  • @cteeput Ha ha! You pathetic fraud! Nice try with your attempt at stringing together "big words". Whoooooo...!

The winter solstice is a measurable, empirical, scientific fact. Religions and science all recognize it. Why does it get you so bothered? I know why.

Give it up, dude . Your Jesus is based on a myth!

  • @ninjamojo711 HAHA Y U THINK I LYK JESUS?

  • @cteeput Wow, you are brilliant. That's all ya got? Nice try but your projection exposes you quite clearly.

Again, get educated, read book or two that isn't covered in fake Corinthian leather and gold foil stamp.

  • @ninjamojo711 Don't understand what led to your presumption that I'm christian...trying to feel smart I suppose. Anyhow, can we be facebook friends? I want to smooth things out after this disagreement, maybe you aren't ass

  • @ninjamojo711 Si je ne suis pas eduque, alors comment est-ce que je peux ecrire en francais?

  • @ninjamojo711 true. It's fine if he wants to live in a cave. No 1's stopping him but trying 2 force his religious beliefs (just that beliefs) on others is not needed in society. A true Christian<3 every1 & accepts every1 dispite their beliefs or lifestyle. Doesn't force him to hangout with them. They are not any less of a person than he is. He has probably more faults than most "gays" I know.If he can force Christianity into schools than so should wiccans/jews/buddist be able 2 too

  • @ninjamojo711 why do you say most christians are clueless?

  • @ninjamojo711 I've never heard of the Jeremiah verse, and just pulled out a Bible to read it. Too funny! Thanks for the post.

  • @piewoman4 Yes, it's funny. It blatantly states that a tree chopped down and decked with gold and silver is heathen and god doesn't like it....but the verse gets ignored or xtians make silly excuses to get around it....but you'd be damn sure if it was verse that only alluded to something against homosexuality, xtians would be preaching it all overt the place.

    Xtian = double standard.

  • @ninjamojo711 Well the thing you have to keep in mind is that just because someone say they are "christian" doesn't mean they actually are. I can myself a grizzly bear wrestler all I want. some might even believe me, but that doesn't make one. Far too many "christians" follow the god of the people, not the one true God. In the same way that stereotypes negatively impact entire cultures, false christians are giving a bad name to christianity.

  • @ninjamojo711 Also, its not that the christian church ripped off any pagan rituals either. There was a point (and i could be wrong) where the church decided to try make pagan practices into represent christ by combining those rituals with the birth of jesus, or his resurrection. They did exactly what rick perry is doing here by using their beliefs to get what they want.

  • @Mullseynga Synthesizing other cults' rituals and symbolism in their own and then claiming exclusiveness and authority is ripping them off.

  • @ninjamojo711 ya, i guess your right there. Regardless of intensions, its still a rip off. But don't pin the actions of a few on an entire culture.

  • @Mullseynga I agree that not all Christians are the same, but how do you feel about your religion being based on ancient myth?

  • @ninjamojo711 Well thats your belief, not fact (doesn't mean your wrong though). I have beliefs, but that gives me no right to state them to someone who believes otherwise as if they are fact. As for being based on ancient myth? well, I've read very convincing articles that use scientific facts to both prove and disprove the bible. But, I wake up every day and ask myself "what if im wrong?" not because I doubt my beliefs, but to stay open minded. I know very, very few people who do this.

  • @Mullseynga Actually facts are based on evidence. It's not my belief or opinion that Pagan rituals and symbolism are used in Christianity...it's fact. Some early church fathers even wrote about it and acknowledge the similarities...but they blamed it on the "devil".

I can recommend some very good books on the subject.

  • @ninjamojo711 Yes, but thats not what Im talking about. Your statement about my beliefs being based on ancient myth is your belief. like I said before, there are many facts that line up with the scriptures and many that don't. One can't just ignore the side they don't like. I would like to know what pagan rituals and symbols you are talking about though, and how they are used in christianity. And, please, recommend some books. I love getting into this kind of stuff.

  • @Mullseynga OK, I know what you're saying.

Myth and symbolism: from virgin birth (winter solstice), divine conception, dying and returning god-man, baptism, eating of the body/drinking of the blood, traveling healer, performing miracles, resurrection, Easter (Spring equinox), crucifixion. Similar cult gods include Mithra, Zoroaster, Dionysus, Sol Invictus,Tammuz (shepherd) etc.

Check out: The Jesus Mysteries by Freke and Gandy.

The Pagan Christ by Tom Harpur.

The Jesus Puzzle by Earl Doherty.

  • @ninjamojo711 Interesting, But is it not possible that pagan beliefs and others are the result of misinterpretations by man of the scriptures or events they might have witnessed? the fact that there are general themes found in all religions (the story of Vishnu's first incarnation as Matsya in comparison to Noah's ark and the flood is one example) can be, in some aspects, evidence that all beliefs, as different as they might seem, stemmed from a common place. Thanks for the referrals by the way.

  • @ninjamojo711 Might I also say that Easter is another example of the whole christmas thing. there is no correlation in the scriptures between the pagan celebration and the resurrection of christ, except for maybe the time of year, and even that is wrong as far as I know. personally I can't stand the bunnies and the eggs that is associated, in modern culture, with the resurrection.

  • @Mullseynga

The gospel stories (scripture) are myth and the symbolism used in the stories show it.

The gospels are a synthesis of old Jewish tales retold (midrash) and Greek allegory. These are developed while the Hebrews/Jews were living in a "Greek World".

    It's a natural evolution of cultures/religions.

In all of Paul's writings (the earliest in NT), he makes no mention of Jesus of Nazareth as a person who was recently on earth. Paul "Christ" is mystical. The gospels are a later development.

  • Rick Perry kind of makes me ashamed to have been a Christian, but I got better.

  • I'm the Kroglander and I approve this comment

  • Newt Gingrish, is a liberal, and globalist! Both sides are just as un-american. The only candidate worth voting for and having as a president is Ron Paul. the presidential race is a joke now it only seems.

  • @PilotDave85 stop newt is not liberal

  • Does America know that the rest of the world laughs at how batshit crazy their politicians are? I mean our politicians make up some stupid ideas but nothing like this. Between michelle bachmann, sarah palin and rick perry I usually get a good chuckle in here and there until I remember America is a nuclear super power and these nutjobs could blow the rest of us off the map.

  • @Sammygirl1231

We laugh at them too, but I take it youve never been to the south. Hate+ignorance+poverty-education. Its a perfect storm for exploitiation. Huge...Huge churches. more like stadiums. Things that dont exist anywhere else in the world.

Since people are raised in that system and taken to bible camp when theyre children they dont know any better. Very few people break that indoctrination process. That is why most southerners hate public school.Theyre taught to.

  • Is it just me, or is it impossible not to hear Fenton from Home Movies when Sam Seder talks? love it.

  • "Obama's war on religion", really?

  • Obama's war on religion??? haha... man, if only that were actually true. It would be great if we could bring home some of those drones from Afghanistan and use them against domestic fundamentalists.

  • @kalbahamut now, THAT would be the best use of the military buget ^^

  • How can someone approve the words coming out their own mouth? Surely it's implied by the act of speaking them....The depths of stupidity displayed by religious Americans is an endless source of comedy.

  • Geez! hilarious!lol...the thought of a Christian that is ashamed to admit being Christian! lol What a news flash! Didn't you hear Sam, this is a Christian Nation.Joking aside.I've had the pleasure to have met some truly good Christians, those that have admitted to being ashamed of some of the extreme positions their brethern have taken that seem so unlike the Christ they claim to follow. Poor Perry's got nothing so he is stooping to this tactic of trying to appeal to the Christian extreme.Sad

  • we really have some stupid fuck that want to be president

  • in the first 2 minutes there is at least 30 seconds of silence. Can you prepare your rants next time? Kthxbai.

  • This idiot is probably the worst speaker I've ever heard. Poorly thought out responses. I don't even support Rick Perry and I hated the wording in the preview you're referencing, but this is just poorly thought out.

  • Your an idiot

  • Kids cant celebrate xmas? I have never heard of or seen anything but encouragement. Christmas is a religous holiday but it is also a commercial venture, a practice which crosses religous boundaries, even aetheists participate. The original holiday was pagan, it had nothing to do with Christ, he was born in the summer, the church adopted it to encourage acceptance of christianity. You could not take away all the important traditions and expect success.

  • @Calimantalkin I would even argue that it is being generous to even call it a religious holiday anymore. Some christians may take a moment for silence, but the vast majority of christians alone celebrate family, brandy, and gay apparel with Christ being the furthest things from their minds.

  • Wow, Sam has a degree, he is nearly 30 and he has worked the whole world out now??? In 20 years time he will realise how little he knew in 2022 when he was 40! Rather than attack Perry, who will not get the R ticket anyway, why not be onjective about what a monumental failure Obama has been, how little he stands for and how shallow his whimsical Presidency has been... Bruce from Downunder.

  • I had no idea Christian children couldn't celebrate Christmas in the open... It must be like American children of all the other religions in the world being forced to celebrate Christmas... My Science, how terrible!

  • from a christian american to rick perry: fuck you, asshole.

  • @protomanhasballs A true Christian should never talk like that, even when disagreeing or becoming angry with someone. Please don't give Christianity a bad name to express your own opinions.

  • @LAGatLIFE Rick Perry is doing that well enough on his own (to say nothing of the Inquisition, Salem Witch Trials, Crusades, TV evangelists, the Bible itself, etc etc etc). Also, nice use of the No True Scotsman fallacy.

  • @cancerousmojo One individual's standards shouldn't be a result of the failure of anothers. This type of comparison would justify a serial killer when being compared to someone such as Hitler, ect... Also, the reason for the "no true Christian should..." is because the Bible itself explains how Christians should live morally. Example: It wouldn't be a fallacy to say that "all police" should ensure justice and save lives, because by their very job titles, that's what they've been entrusted to do.

  • @LAGatLIFE While I agree with you, sometimes you gotta bust out the profanity. I'm not worried about giving Christianity a bad name since I'm just a random guy on Youtube...but when you're running for office, that's just unacceptable. If Jesus wanted me to welcome those in suffering with open arms...the only appropriate response is "fuck you" to someone who so openly doesn't. Your faith, be it in science, God, Allah, etc. should never compromise your respect for all humanity.

  • @protomanhasballs Point taken that Jesus would have made his point in a more loving way, and I understand that Perry has made mistakes in his campaign. However honestly, it depends on what's really important to you. Trusting in God and honoring what he says about not swearing in the Bible, or using free speech to make a point. I meant that saying "I'm a Christian" and then letting out a swear word doesn't seem very good to Christians/non-Christians alike. Not to personally attack you at all :]

  • I like the blue palette Sam. It really works for you. Very chanukiah. The comments are disabled on the YouTube video but the dislikes to likes are currently 316590 to 7125.

  • @slandsma Its up to 340,000 dislikes now.

  • The point being made is a bit of dog whistle. What is being said to his fellow Christians is that Romney is afraid to bring up his Mormon faith. So he's tapping into Christian voters, tapping into Romney avoiding his Mormon issue with voters, and tapping into all those Christians that dislike Mormons. Personally, I find this rather obvious. I am surprised, or I would be surprised if Sam isn't seeing this.

  • They keep on saying the same lie over and over again and again that children are not allowed to pray in schools. Children are most certainly are allowed to pray in schools and can even form christian prayer clubs and hold meetings on school grounds if they want. What is forbidden is to allow the school teachers and staff to organize and lead such events. But the christian RIGHT keeps on perpetuating this lie even though they know the truth.

  • Perry is a delusional idiot.

I saw a 1940's patriotic cartoon recently. It featured Porky Pig reciting the "Pledge of Allegiance," and he said, "...one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all." Is Porky a god-cursed atheist? No! The Pledge didn't include "under God" until much later, as an anti-communist addition.

Still, Porky may be going to hell for kissing Bugs Bunny.

  • There are Christians in Woosta? Damn, I was seriously confused about the whole "College of the Holy Cross" thing until right now.

  • I have many criticisms of Obama, but I seem to have missed his "war on religion." When did that happen?

  • Christians are completely delusional. Fox News shoulders a lot of the blame.

  • @BottleConcreteBlond I object to calling these Nazis "Christians." Especially this Dumber than W nitwit.

  • @LordBalto Unfortunately the non-crazy Christians don't seem to make themselves heard over their insane fellow Christians.

  • religion is the number 1 leading cause of death, war, and destruction in the past and present.i only hope not in the future. but then again ive lost hope in humanity a long time ago -__-

  • Well I'm definitely not a liberal, but since when does gays in the military have anything to do with celebrating Christmas?

  • @schnel127 I'm not sure but, there's an awesome joke in there somewhere!

  • @schnel127 He's pushing buttons. HW was good at that. It has nothing to do with logic.

  • Everyone check out Estonian Pagan holiday traditions. They look like so much fun and really nice way to bond with friends and family.

  • You wouldn't believe the number of Facebook status there are declaring that people are going to call their Christmas Tree a Christmas Tree and how completely unashamed they are to do so..:D. Personally I think I'm going to proudly call my Christmas Tree "Woden" after an old English God of the same name, who was to bring good cheer at winter. Later of course we know him as Father Christmas and later Santa Claus. Merry Woden to you all !!

  • you're the man sam

  • The Ironic part is that Christmas is a Pagan celebration that Jesus did no celebrate.

  • OK, how old is Sam? Why does he look like he's getting younger every time I see him? Who does his work? Keep it up.

  • Sam is HILARIOUS, if I was a phony Xtain like Perry I'd be ashamed to admit it too...sweet holy jeebus assholes like Guv Goodhair/ Numbnutz and the rest of the Repugnants MUST see the hypocrisy and absurdity of comparing their lyin', cheating, whorin' ways to Jesus, right, RIGHT?
