  • Marvelous, spectacular, incredible, terrific, hot, smokin', seismic!!!!

  • Everyone cut mrspatrickcampbell some slack! She just means Ella is boring over THERE... in the Twilight Zone!! Where Ella, Sarah and Louis never existed and everybody has pig noses! XD

  • The fabulous Miss Peggy Lee was the greatest jazz singer, not the boring Ella or Sarah.

  • You've got to be kidding me. Peggy Lee did not have half the talent as Ella or Sarah!

  • @mrspatrickcampbell What kind of Aryan Bizzaro world do you live in, mrs patrick campbell? It's truly scary the blatantly counterfactual things you say!

  • @mrspatrickcampbell Dude! dont even say that!!!! dont get me wrong.. I LOOOOOOVE PEGGY!! she is one of my favourites! but you CANT compare those ladies!!! they were legends in their own styles!!!! please dont say that again!!!

  • @mrspatrickcampbell Peggy lee was OK, Ella and Sarah were the greatest. Even Anita O'day was better than Peggy lee to be honest. Now be gone you filthy troll!!!

    no...

  • @mrspatrickcampbell: I think the vast majority of listeners will disagree, me included. And that was just uncalled for--the woman is no longer living.

  • @mrspatrickcampbell False statement

  • @mrspatrickcampbell LOL. UM, ok. Yes the woman who most the world considered and still consider greatest jazz singer who ever lived was boring. Interesting reality you live in.

  • NO DISLIKES!!! :D ella fitzgerald :D

  • goose bumps and tears...brilliant

  • My nan and grandad absolutely loved this lady and I think went to see her in concert.

They both loved the Big Band Swing Sound back in the day.

Manhattan Transfer - My nan had one of their LP's back in the 70's and when my sister and I were kids, we would sing to "Chon Son Da Mor" (forgive me for misprunounciation). Happy memories!!

  • Ella must be towards the end of her life AND she shreads it!!! like the born master she is-----a bottomless well of talent!

  • Ella had just about the best sense of timing and rhythm that vocalist has ever had. And she could swing, too. Her album with Louis Armstrong is a must for anyone who loves what she's doing here.

  • maravilla....

    Jorge-Argentina

  • Great awsome wonderful fantastic fabulous

  • Manhattan Transfer and Ella...they had that great harmony and Ella was Ella.

  • Ella Fitzgerald...great doesn't even begin to describe her.

  • Rarely has the Grammys been so classy
