I love Shinedown's old and new stuff and have been listening since 2005... I don't get why people are saying "RIP Shinedown, this isn't what I know and love" on their new "Bully" song.
- They haven't sold out
- They retain lyrical meaning
- They still (and succeed to) write awesome music
- They still try (and succeed to) avoid making all their music samey.
There's just a lot of nay-sayers out there... Keep on writing Shinedown!

If you are going have backing vocals on an album, have them live. It screws up the song entirely not having any. He is so fucking off key, it's making my ears bleed.
@BacchusFA There were a few offkey notes.... irrelevant to my enjoyment of this live track....when I go to an event/click a 'live' video, I expect that the performance will not be of flawless studio quality, especially during an extended set like Shinedown usually plays. There are a rare few artists who can keep that studio sound even through an hour or two of live stage performance. He may not sound amazing compared to the album, but he sounds amazing for a live performance imo.
Gah Shinedown concert is one of my fondest memories haha Its one of the best I've ever been to.. I was crowd surfing, going CRAZY.. and thatS sooo unusual for me but it was sooo fn awesome! They will always have a fond place in my heart :) its been years but I still go back to that night and smile so BIG!

Brent is my idol. I absolutely love him and Shinedown. I think hes kickin ass up there singing, It takes guts to do that. Im in a choir and have sang in front of thousands of people in the choir and i still get nervous. Brent, Barry, Zach and Eric are all amazing. Definitely my all time favorite band.

I saw then in 09. They put on an amazing show. The crowd went NUTS!! Pit was Crazy!!!!!!! They really are an amazing band.. Outs more than just random words in a song. They actually put thought into the lyrics..

They sound better live now.. I rented this movie and frankly it was not well done. The sound is not the best. Camera shots and angles could have been better. Since this SD has improved 1000% as a live band.
I am not a hater of SD. I love the band's music and I have seen them open a few shows. I always hoped to see them headline and someday I will.
Can't wait for the new CD/DVD package coming out May 3rd. If the preview is like most of the 3 1/2 hrs of footage it is gonna rock!!!!!
@houndsking1 - Back when they were all cranked out on amphetamines each night. Those were some awesome shows though. I saw them 5 times in that form and it was so amazingly heavy. Plus Brent didn't talk through the whole show.

I saw then in 09. They put on an amazing show. The crowd went NUTS!! Pit was Crazy!!!!!!! They really are an amazing band.. Outs more than just random words in a song. They actually put thought into the lyrics..

We're a struggling, just starting out rock band with a sound that a few people have compared to a type of Shinedown. They sound better live now.. I rented this movie and frankly it was not well done. The sound is not the best. Camera shots and angles could have been better. Since this SD has improved 1000% as a live band.
I am not a hater of SD. I love the band's music and I have seen them open a few shows. I always hoped to see them headline and someday I will.
Can't wait for the new CD/DVD package coming out May 3rd. If the preview is like most of the 3 1/2 hrs of footage it is gonna rock!!!!!

@houndsking1 - Back when they were all cranked out on amphetamines each night. Those were some awesome shows though. I saw them 5 times in that form and it was so amazingly heavy. Plus Brent didn't talk through the whole show.
