I'm a TH fan, but I can say that I don't think this award belongs to Tokio Hotel, it belongs to U2.
Im not a U2 fan, but this award is theirs. They have ben famous much longer than TH. Don't get me wrong, I like TH very much!
But I think TH would have won anyway, because I dont think U2's fans is like THs - voting all the time.
But obviously(?) some people thought it would be SO funny to let some one unexpected win - Rick Astley.

I'm a TH fan, but the only artist/band in that category that actually deserved to win was U2. None of the other have been around long enough, or meant enough to music history.
