Christian Groove Metal <3 ftwww i bought this cd years ago at a christian store not knowing who they were or what they were. Listened to it and i was like WOW !! i love them. years went by and i lost them through diffrent music and reformats of the computer.. but now i have refound them and im still able to rock out as hard as i was when i first heard them ! this band is sooo great ! the best of Christian metal ! 2004 man 7 years ago i bought this jeez !

I think it was the pillar of fire that led the Israelites by night after the exodus from Egypt. I guess that's where they must have got the name, they could relate to this story, that God provides constant guidance no matter where you are.
Btw don't qoute me on that, i don't claim to actually know why they call themselves that. There are many ways in which a pillar could represent the one true God.

For the record...there was a lot more to the original protestants (Lutherans) than not believing Mary was a perfect person, and that we should pray to her. The main platform for Luther's stance against the Catholic church was their corruption at that point in history, and the belief in salvation by works.

They do talk about God, sometimes its a little more difficult to interpret, but like in the beginning they say drop down to my knees, can you hear me ? type thing
if ure a christian and u listen too a song, ure always gonna try and interprate it to suit ure beleifs, but if ure aithiest, then no matter wat song u listen too, ure gonna try and keep it away from glorifieing God! thats just the way music works, sum songs its easy to twist, sum not so easy.
they are christian, if you go on their site you'll see. in interviews they say that their songs aren't all blatently christian because they want to reach to a wider audience and give secular listeners a more positive thing to listen to than some of the crap out there.
these guys make me really think and reflect my life. sometimes their songs even bring tears to my eyes.

Often I find that people who claim to be "SAVED" are actually more quick to judge someone who has denounced their faith.
I used to be a christian, DEVOUT. I studied everything from catholicism, all the way into the 3rd churches of methodist.
Currently I have my own belief system, and it works.
BUT IT FUCKING PISSES ME OFF WHEN YOU CHRISTIANS POINT FINGERS AND CALL OTHERS LOWLY JUST BECAUSE YOU THINK YOU ARE BETTER.

and yea no kidding christians judge people. everyone judges people--its how we base our relationships in life. all judging means is you are making an informed decision on the facts that are presented to you, and you are making a decision based on said facts. if no one judged people--killers, rapists, thieves--there would be no order in society.

also, plenty on non-christians study christianity. so if u 'studied' christianity--that doesnt mean you believed it or thought jesus died on the cross for you. and quite frankly--lets say you believed in catholocism...well then if you believed in the ideas of the methodist churches....well then your beliefs would be conflicting. your argument is hard pressed to find legit points.

I show respect to all religions, and I believe strongly that no one should ever assume they are right. You have no way of knowing, I have no way of knowing.
But you just verbally attacked someone for not having the same beliefs as you. Are you allowed to voice your opinion by saying "CHRIST IS KING" but someone that doesn't believe in god doesn't have that privilege?!

The devil will use anyone and anything, inculding YOU! So it's up to you to diside want you want to happen, live in fear and sorrow, OR peace. Live is never easy but life is short, don't waste it by hidding in the shadows. Come into the light, you'll see everything is better. The Lord can make it, and he is with you all the time.He want's you to turn to him, he loves everyone, no matter what they've done.

Man the only person hurting you is the devil. He wants you to believe all this is happening because of God. He Loves You man, he would never to anything to you that could hurt you.
God gave us free will. Just because someone isnt a christian doesnt mean that God doesnt want to bless them. He loves christians just as much as he loves non-christians.
By believing all of this junk on yourself, you're just giving him room to kill.
Ask any God-Fearing Christian. They'll tell you the same.

How the hell does anyone know what to believe in anyway? they are christian, if you go on their site you'll see. in interviews they say that their songs aren't all blatently christian because they want to reach to a wider audience and give secular listeners a more positive thing to listen to than some of the crap out there.
