Wade Rathke demonstrates to reporters why Acorn is so prone to scandal. His solution to ethical violations is to sweep them under the rug. That is exactly how leadership sends a signal the organization that it is ok to not "do right".

What he seems to be saying is this: the problems of Acorn are not of Acorns making but rather those who would "weaponize" its mistakes.

In other words even now he does not hold Acorn accountable for its actions.

Rathke is a slippery snake. I do not think in listening to his comments that he sees a problem with how ACORN does business. He can justify the means, always. It was interesting on how much he talked about redemption. This guy is not done yet. Corruption is something he does not understand. To quote the from song .
