I love this song!! It would be cool if Ian pulled this one out eventually again. He says he enjoys rotating his setlists so you never know. As for the CD of Walk Into Light, it was remastered last year and was re-released in Feb 2011. I bought my copy on amazon.co.uk and had it imported to me in Canada. Sounds so much nicer then the original!! very clean! Cover art is true to the LP now.
Nice to see Anderson not pratting around too much. I was too young to know or undertsand Tull in 1984 (I was 14) and look at these times with fondness. I love Tull's synth era, just so different, even though many fans were put off, the songs of this era to me were just so atmospheric.
I love the sound and performances here. I think they peaked on this tour. Sadly, those of us in Los Angeles never got to see this entire concert. I was at the concert, I believe it was the Universal Amphitheater, and Ian's voice went out. They played maybe 4 songs and then shut it down. Ian hasn't sounded the same since.
no it's doane; he's been w/ the band for 25 years this year. too bad he didn't get a grammy for 'crest of a knave,' but he wasn't a 'charter member supposedly; which to me is bollocks...and he may have even started drumming earlier..but i think UW was his first tour.
I really like these songs, thank you for posting your archive video footage of Tull BenRossington! Just curious, is "Fly by Night" one of the songs that Ian penned with Peter Vettese?

Great to hear Ian one last time before the throat infection that wrecked his distinctive voice.

Mark Craney was a good friend of Doane Perry and one hell of a drummer. I dunno if this is Burgess or not. Anyone?

Yes..Fly by Night is credited to both Ian and Vettesse. Made in England is also credited to both Ian and PJV.
